It's Marathon Monday here in Boston. The city was buzzing with runners and the like this past weekend.
Hope everyone had a great weekend and Easter if you celebrate! Today I am finally dropping my car off to be fixed from when it was hit in January. We are also heading off on our quick trip to the White Mountains, so excited!
I love going back home, but I'm always so tired and don't get much relaxing time in my own house before the work week starts back up. The next two weeks are crazy busy for us between extra meetings I have at school and six tball games.

Good luck today @officedronette!
We had a nice weekend. It was low key. Back to work today. Ho hum.
H is applying on a job in a small city out east and I'm obsessing over moving there. So basically I'm setting myself up for a huge disappointment. He hasn't even had an interview!
Our lab is supposed to be getting inspected any time now. I really don't feel like doing anything today to I hope they don't come until later in the week. Boo JCAHO.

WWJ15D? My house has been passing a stomach bug around for 8 days. I *thought* it started out as food poisoning, but am guessing that's not the case since others have gotten sick. I normally don't even bother with the doctor for stomach things, but this is the third day I've been sick over those 8. DD2 has been sick twice in there (days apart)- everyone else either once or none. Could there be something else and I should go in?
Omg I was so zonked yesterday from the busy holiday and a wicked cold. I fell asleep at 930 last night and slept until 645! Kids are still on spring break but H is at work so we're going to have a lazy day at home. A trip to the grocery store and lots of laundry and being the candy police is all that's on my agenda.
Thanks for all your support, always. You ladies are the best.
All was good at appointment. Heartbeat is present and the expected rate. The doctor is very positive about this pregnancy, so that's helpful.
The baby measured a couple days later than I thought by ovulation but within the margin of error (they measured at 6 weeks +\- 4 days, I thought I was at 6w 2d based on ovulation).
ashiscute - I love this recipe. I add a little bit more hot sauce and drain 1-2 more cans of beans because I like a thicker chili, but in general the recipe is excellent even with no adjustments.
The toddler is in holiday detox mode over here. As in, increased tantrums, seemingly bored though surrounded by toys, and getting into absolutely everything he's not supposed to. Praying for patience for these next few days!
We had a good Easter. It was a long day and we all slept good last night. Today DS has kindermusik, my husband has work and then meeting all night, and I have a ton of housework!
Happy Monday ladies! We had such a nice weekend. The weather yesterday here was sunny and warm so we got to spend a lot of time outside playing, and Nick took a nice long nap, so I got to drink a few mimosas. It was a nice Easter. I don't want to adult today.

I'm tired today. We had a nice trip, but I really don't like coming home on Sundays. I like the re-entry day at home. I did manage to place a clicklist order for Nanny to pick up this morning so at least there will be food in the house. I also told the boys I'd pay them each $1 if they wiped down and vacuumed out the van. Hopefully that will seem enticing for them.
Birthday is finally over and now I think we can just have some normalcy for awhile, which I'm really looking forward to. Basketball hoop is getting finished with installation Friday, and we are all super excited.
Lol - for reals, you may have been hacked. Change your password.
So, I did. But...I think if I added someone recently it would show in my history and it's not? I think this is someone I've had on there for a while because they were also following me as well. I think one of my friend's accounts may have been the one that was hacked.
This legit had to be your face scrolling through an instagram feed full of dicks.

DH, T, and I all got a ton of chigger bites this weekend at my IL's house and it's miserable. I'm not sure why no one else got any, maybe because they live there and smell different? They're all in the crotch area too. Yuck.
But, we had a great Easter overall - T loved the egg hunt, didn't care so much about what was inside them, just wanted to put them in his bucket. He's been collecting things around the house all morning for his bucket, which is adorable.

Noooooo! Put clear nail polish on the bites, if you don't know.
Baby girl slept until 7am! I woke up before she did! Apparently we need Easter Sunday level shenanigans daily, so she can sleep well. Today I have another therapy appt and then we have our old neighbors over for lunch.
We had the best Easter weekend at my inlaws. I was thinking the whole time, J15 is NOT going to believe how pleasant this is!!! Henry seriously had the best time playing with all the kids and it was so fun to watch. This age really is so fun.
Great news @officedronette and @justinslovo!
Today I have some housework, paperwork, and cooking to do. It's really nice out so I have all the doors and windows open- which means I can also add dusting and vacuuming to the list for tomorrow.
ashiscute my go-to chili sub 3-4 tbsp mild chili powder for the actual chiles for less fuss. you can also stretch it by adding in another can of beans or a couple of chopped red bell peppers. i generally make it with ground turkey.
cincinnati chili is my favorite chili overall. it's delicious on the spaghetti, by itself, on hot dogs, or especially on baked sweet potatoes! (i also generally use ground turkey and don't do that first boiling step- i just brown the turkey and then add the onions, spices, etc. also, used canned tomato sauce, not jarred.)

I'm here. Feel like I have a panic attack coming on. I really wish I could drop the event consulting I'm doing. Their communication is crap and literally they want to dump every little thing on me. I feel like it's starting to suffocate me. I'm still waiting on my my first half paycheck but this really needs at least 3 more people and a full time schedule. Plus I really need at least the paycheck I'm waiting on. And I don't think there is a gracious way to back out at this point. 8 more weeks of this may legit kill me or put me in a mental institution. My real full time job is keeping me super busy right now too, but it's a good busy. Just have a lot on my plate.
Kids had way too much candy over the weekend and I need to probably bring a bunch of it to work. I think we still have Halloween and Valentine's Day candy we need to get rid of.
Blah blah blah, I hate my job, my students are mean to me, I want to cry.
Today a kid set off the fire extinguisher for no reason and then my entire class just walked out 5 min early.
Also, in the class I co-teach, I carefully went through directions for what we were working on. 2 min later, this girl comes up to my co-teacher to ask what to do. I get snippy with her, saying I literally just went over it. She said "well, I don't listen to you, and no one else does, either. That's why I'm asking her."
