My kid just went 12+ hours without a wink of sleep. And now, an hour and a half from Nashville, our intended stop for the night, she's out cold. Pleaseeeeeee do not let this ruin bedtime.
It's 01:22am and I'm wide awake eating cereal (shreddies) in bed.
I watched a movie on my phone, which took it to about midnight. And since being pregnant Ive stayed up this late twice.
As I rolled over to go bed, my stomach grumbled because I was getting hungry. Didn't think anything of it, and tried to sleep. Started to get a bit shaky even though I'm laying down in bed. I'm on the verge of sleep so ignore it.
But something kept pinging me back awake, about three times it had happened.
FINE I'LL GET UP AND EAT AT 1AM IN THE MORNING
I'm already feeling better and my bowl is nearly finished. Ridiculous. I'm going to be SO tired tomorrow
First appointment and u/s tomorrow. I'm nervous. Hoping I can sleep tonight. Dh is out of town which makes sleeping hard anyways. Yikes. He's meeting me there tomorrow. 10am can't some soon enough
Good luck!!
And @annperkins glad the babe is doing well! I've had brown spotting on and off since week 6 and put myself on that restriction until our next appointment (next Monday) ha!
Safely tucked into a hotel in Nashville. Ellie is asleep in bed and H is at target like a straight up basic bitch. I'm lounging on the second bed watching house hunters. This is the most relaxation I've gotten my whole spring break.

Ditto except I'm not sure I'm ever having sex again. lol
After the nurse didn't find the heartbeat last week, an online friend on another board told me she'd send me her doppler. On like Saturday she told me she'd stick it in the mail this week. I haven't gotten it yet, and I'm dying to know if she sent it already so I know when to expect it. Is it rude to send her a message to ask? She's not charging me anything, not even shipping, so I don't want to be pushy, but I'm so impatient!

Maybe say something like "did the mail Place tell you when it would be roughly delivered? Just want to make sure I'm in!"
Rather than just asking her "did you send it yet?"

Still here. Just learned no u/s today. Bummer. I guess they don't do the first one until 12 weeks which stinks. Other than that appointing is going fine.

O and there's this info I thought I should share...
She said to avoid Miami and south due to zika. Well I said dh is going to the keys in a couple weeks and she said if he has to go that's fine but then no more sex for the remainder of the pregnancy.....so there's that

southernbelle I went to the keys in January and my RE wasn't concerned, I don't believe there have been any issues there. Tell YH to pack bug spray, but I honestly don't remember any bugs while we were there.

The only part of the keys I've been to was Key West, and I don't think I saw a single mosquito.
Just as an FYI, according to the CDC, at least as of about a month ago, there are no more active transmission areas in Florida. I would still use bug spray and be careful but they said since there haven't been any new locally transmitted cases since last year they removed the warning.

Just got to the other location I work at and found out my coworker was sent home b/c she's been throwing up all day! When asked why she came in she said b/c she needed the hours. I get needing the money but she has the flexibility to work another day so keep your germs at home and come in when you're feeling better. I just hope she doesn't have the 5 day stomach virus my MIL had, ugh.

Did you ask her if she's pregnant?
I know for a fact she's not. But yes that would normally be my first instinct lol.

I finally joined the fit bit crowd. I had just been using my phone to track my steps but I don't always carry it around with me. Here's to staying active during pregnancy!

You can also challenge people that you're "friends" with on fit bit. One of my coworkers and I always challenge each other and it definitely keeps us moving.

We're actually doing a fitness challenge at work, which is awesome! You get points based on minutes of exercise per day, bonus points for steps and bonus points for working out or walking with a colleague. Everyone really loves it. I need to use it to motivate me more, but I'm tired. There's actually pretty good prizes for the winning teams too.
I feel crappy though, the free pizza at work did not make me want to go for a walk afterwards, it just made my tummy hurt
