I told my OB that we were going to FL and she said to check the CDC website before going and make sure to wear bug spray. She also said the same thing about no sex the rest of the pregnancy if he went somewhere where Zika was. We will be north of Miami though.

I'm 12 weeks today. Almost out of the first trimester!

I'm still a nervous wreck about my ultrasound next Friday so I don't feel comfortable yet, but it was definitely a "holy shit" moment this morning when I saw my 12 week Ovia notification.

It helps a little that the spotting has gotten way lighter again...hence me having the nerve to actually order that this morning. I'm still basically freaking out most of the time, but I'm trying really hard to stay positive.

I had one crawl out of the console of our treadmill once while I was running. Scared the shit out of me. Thankfully I did not go face down on the moving belt, but that sure ended my run fast.

i'm going for a random question today and maybe the ftm to bes will get an answer too?! how do you know what size diapers to use? baby has decided he needs try to roll over and crawl away during diaper changes. this makes putting em on tough but also tough to gauge if it is a good fit for him. like what do you look for when you think it may be time to go up a size?

My biggest cue that it was time to move up a size was leaking. If things started coming out, it was time for bigger diapers.

I was put on bedrest at 30 weeks last time due to preeclampsia. This time, that'll be right when I'm supposed to go back to work after the summer. While I'm hopeful that my BP will stay under control this time, I'm not banking on it. I'm going to pack up all my stuff in June/July regardless. Last time, I was put on leave quite suddenly (as in wasn't even allowed to go to work that afternoon) and that was extremely stressful.

That happened to me last time. I had a Friday appointment and was told I was no longer allowed to work and that they'd fax in my note. I begged for one more day because I had a few things that I could not leave unfinished, state mandated stuff. But yeah, I got the sudden yank too at 35 weeks. Good thing too, my water broke a week later.

I'll go back in September but I won't work up to my EDD.

+1 to leaking. Though just because they are leaking at night does not mean you need to switch during the day if you still have a bunch of the smaller size. When DS starts leaking at night, I size up for night and use the smaller size during the day until I run out.

Also I found the best for wiggly babies are pampers little crawlers or whatever they are called. It's the purple box. Snugglers or whatever didn't work for us once he started crawling/walking. He'd leak poop out of the leg holes because he moves so much.

@thatgolfbitch YES! Cruisers we've purchased potties and a potty book, but haven't done much with them. DS wakes up very wet and routinely denies pooping despite the smell from his diaper.

My MIL was telling me that her middle child decided that he was done wearing diapers at around 3 after his brother was born. He was just like "I'm done with diapers, they are for babies" and put on underwear/used the toilet. I'm hopeful for something similar with DS but want to start trying over the summer (as long as he seems ready).

DH and I are text fighting over a stupid Photoshop announcement thing. It's his project, but he asked for my help. My suggestions are too "dramatic" or "sentimental." Sure, whatever, take a look at your source material, buddy. Then when I tell him I can't help since I don't understand his vision, I'm accused of being snippy. If I wasn't at work I'd be crying pregnant rage tears.

I'm loving all these announcements and onesies! So cute. I told a few more friends today and one of them is due ten days after me! Squee! So that's exciting. She's still really nervous about it and not telling anyone until they get their Harmony test results back, but I'm excited about it!

We're telling our siblings tomorrow. Photoshop Announcement Throwdown 2017 was resolved peacefully. Basically me just releasing it.
It's Back to the Future themed. I'll post tomorrow because I need to heavily edit some identifying stuff.
