penguin129, glad the appointment went well. For what it's worth, my main diagnosis is anxiety and my PCP gave me Zoloft. I do also have depression, so that may be why. I hope the additional Celexa helps you.

Last night went great. DS1 was so excited to in the water again and it really improving at "floating" on his back. He still struggles to keep his legs up while swimming on his stomach. But it's a huge victory for us that he'll get in the water without a parent.
DS2 went to bed shortly after they left for swimming lessons so I could devote all my attention to DD. We played outside - chalk, bubbles, basketball, walk around the house. She always wants to ride her bike. When it comes time to do so, she won't do it. I don't know if her legs are just enough too short that pedaling is too difficult. They have tricycles at daycare so I'm hoping she'll get more exposure to pedaling and get more comfortable with it. She just wants to scoot with her feet but won't do a balance bike. My husband will take a wagon to the trike-a-thon next week as a back up:)
An update that this week I'm back to pumping enough milk without any changes so I'm blaming hormone dips on each months slump. I guess I should be glad I'm not getting a period but I wish I wouldn't get a slump in supply...

Hey ladies! Work is killing me as usual. Super busy and am traveling to corporate next week so trying to get out from under the piles of deadlines in advance. My big will be three in September and I'm leaning towards a bounce house too. We had one at our nieces party and V loooooooved it.
penguin129 celexa and Zoloft are both SSRIs and are both considered to be antidepressants. That said I know even though they are so similar people definitely have preferences. When you say you associate Zoloft with depression did it cause depressive symptoms? Bc sometimes they can do that. I know someone who developed increased anxiety on celexa but did well on lexapro. Another ssri. These types of meds are so personal and unpredictable. I do think you did the right thing to stay on the celexa for now and up your dose. I would want to see if a higher dose helped prior to swapping meds entirely. Long rambling story short, I hope the dose increase helps. Nobody should have to feel on edge all the time.
Glad you're taking charge of your health penguin129. And hugs jillian.
At what age did kids start getting into the bounce houses? DS2 is 26 months and not at all interested. I've taken him several times to open gyms that have them and he won't even go inside.
At 29 months dd1 cautiously went into a small toddler bounce house at her friends birthday party. And at 31 months she went into real bounce houses at a bounce house place. But when more than a couple other kids went in, she booked it out. She is on the timid side in general.
penguin129 I'm glad you were honest with your doctor and hope the dose increase helps or if not leads you to the right solution soon. My main issue is anxiety and Zoloft seems to help it enough. When I'm done breastfeeding I may explore other options. But I've gotten more anxiety relief from the Zoloft than I have any other non-medication treatment or advice.
Glad you're taking charge of your health penguin129. And hugs jillian.

DS1 did it for the first time at 33 months with his daycare class. It was a cool thing to do when his friends and teacher were doing it. Even then, his teacher said he was very apprehensive but warmed up quickly.

It must depend on the kid. He had one for his 2nd birthday and all the kids loved it- many other just turned 2 kids as well. I didn't see any of them refuse to go in, but some were not physically capable of jumping, they just couldn't get their feet off the ground. The neighbor had one and they are 2 and 4 and loved it as well. My DS is really mobile/ wild. So he loves it.
Yeah I guess it's just weird how careful DS1 is about certain things. He runs around like a wild man, but hates swings, climbing, etc. He loves his mini trampoline with the handle, but hated the trampoline park we went to. Maybe he'll warm up to the bouncy soon.
My wild man will swing on his belly but not his butt. I don't like swinging either so I don't blame him.
