Has anyone had an increase in bowel movements recently? I recently went from every 3 days or so to 3-4 times per day. It's a big change I wasn't expecting.

I never had a problem going daily but it does seem to have increased frequency over the last week or so. I was just blaming the crappy food I'd been eating.
Can't remember who was talking about vericose veins around the lady bits, but I've been feeling some weird pain lately and actually pulled out a mirror to check for those last night. Nothing.

I thought I had them last month but I was wrong and it was actually a strained pelvic tendon. I was way off! I had my dr check-- hopefully your next appt is soon or it goes away. Groin pain=no joke!!

I've got them. Boo.
I have them as well. OB said there was nothing that could be done about them. They will go away on their own after baby is born. Her best recommendation was to wear tight fitted pants (leggings).

Not to scare anyone but my OB mentioned that depending on their location varicose veins can tear during delivery and the dr would need to stitch it to repair it. I have one but based on where it is I don't think it will tear...hopefully.

Oh my goodness. Like there isn't going to be enough going on down there...

Ummm. Here is where I confess we haven't had sex since this baby was conceived on September 27th. We didn't have sex the entire pregnancy with my son either. H was weirded out. This time he said he wouldn't be but then I was on pelvic rest until 12 weeks and then I was always tired and before you know it here we are. The same boat as last time. 😳
I think it's the extra hormones this time around. With DD's pregnancy I DNW sex for most of it. So it was a surprise to want it so much this pregnancy! I also know my vagina was jacked up post delivery for an extremely long time thanks to scar tissue and BFing, so I wanna make the most of it while I have some control of the situation lol
Out of my 3 pregnancies, DS's pregnancy is the only pregnancy that I had a high sex dive with. DD's and this baby's pregnancy I have been like "DNW and DON'T TOUCH ME." I feel bad for DH because he requests it pretty much daily. If we do anything at all, we just fool around. Intercourse is way too uncomfortable at this point.

wineoclock I'm not far behind. We've DTD twice since baby was conceived. I just didn't feel like it and the 2 times it happened was because I felt bad for DH. Especially with recovery post c-section and waiting for BC after that. It probably won't happen again until August. He survived last time though so...

How long after a c section can you have sex again ? I'm not looking for what my doctor or google says but more when did you feel like it/ was it pleasurable?

ihatepizza I basically HAD to wait 12 weeks. I waited until my IUD was placed and my OB didn't want to do that until 10/12 weeks.
I would say that it was almost normal that time anyway. It was more of a mental game for me so I required a little alcohol to calm my nerves! I'll be interested to see this time how I feel... with the RCS hoping I won't feel as reluctant
sex. sigh. first of all, ihatepizza i feel for you bc it's much harder if you aren't allowed. haha. i'm frustrated bc i have definitely been interested from a purely physical perspective, but not interested in doing it with DH. i feel bad, but we've been having a tough time lately (just feeling disconnected bc we are super busy), and it's so much work to coordinate a time, and i HAAAAAATE being like "hey you wanna have sex?" it's so not sexy to me. plus i feel giant, and DH always asks me to get on top and i feel sure that i'm crushing him. i also feel like i need to take a shower first, because holy discharge and feeling gross.
god bless him for even being interested but it's not easy.
i've probably said this before, but we had sex while i was in labor in an attempt to get things moving along (it totally worked), and i will forever think he deserves a medal for that. haha. but then i was terrified of anything coming near my vagina for like 10 weeks so it's a good thing we did it then. meanwhile my neighbor was up for it and enjoying it as soon as she got the all clear at like 6 weeks (c-section for her, so there you go ihatepizza). she made me feel like i was ruining DH's life by avoiding it, lol.

We were back in the sack right at 6 weeks after my c section. I also was enjoying my wine again. Things to look forward to!
