Online shopping wiz's, I need help. I need a site that sells kids cloths in solid colors. I want solid tops for my littles and solid leggings for DD1. I swear everything has patters or characters, and I just want solids because they have so many patterned cloths and now it's hard to find outfits because I don't seem to have any staples. Just specific 2 piece outfits I can't mix and match. It HAS to ship to Canada. (I've already been recommended "Primary" and it does not ship out of the US). The packet of solid bodysuits from Carters is perfect but they only have their size on the US site. Grrrr. Btw: carters US site seems to be having a decent sale; carters CA is not
Honestly, Walmart. The garanimal brand has plain shirts and shorts and we just get all the colors at the beginning of a season in the pants or shorts and shirts. We spend like $30 but we've got all the staple clothing we'll need.
littleredfish how good the carters US sales are compared to ours frustrate the heck out of me.
dancerspose he has fallen to sleep on his own on his stomach a handful of times, it is the rare chance I usually get success. Does she fall asleep on your arms or back and then you put her down on stomach? I tried yesterday putting him down that way and it didn't last, but I was super awkward doing t and so it was probably my fault. Lol the boppy sideways is a good idea too I could try that Thanks!!
shawnabm1320 he seems to hate the swing sadly. I think my issue is no swaddle... I have to find a way to get that to work He does love ocean sounds, so at least that helps. I should try a darker room, that could be it too. Thanks

Evelyn3 sometimes we'll let her fall asleep on our chest then do a transfer to her belly on the couch and leave her like that. We don't put her in the crib on her stomach since we keep her in the room with us when napping like that. But we will also let her fall asleep like that if she's showing signs of being tired or really fussy we'll lay her on her belly on her play mat. Once the pacifier is in she's usually out. The boppy is becoming a go-to during the day too, though. It's actually how she's sleeping as I type...
Let me know how the zippadee goes flyinghorses6. I'm still swaddling B with both arms in and I feel like we're going to have to think about changing it up soon. B rolled (front to back) the other day and I'm nervous about him still needing to be swaddled....
It was a bad idea. I switched her into the swaddle about an hour later. She slept her usual 5 hours, then 2.5, then it turned awful. I sound like a broken record. Idk what happens to this kid from 2:30/3 am on. I even took her into bed and she was restless on my chest. I'm extremely discouraged, and extremely exhausted. I'm wondering if her midnight feeding is bothering her...I am engorged at that feeding because I give her a bottle before bed at like 6:30... who knows. I'm reaching for anything to explain this. She is thrashing, grunting, and moving all over the bed (even though she is swaddled).

Ugh. I'm so so sorry. I've totally been in your shoes and understand the frustration. B's normal night looked like that until 12 weeks when he started daycare. He'd go 4ish hrs, then be up every 1.5-2.5 after that - kicking and grunting and struggling with the swaddle, unable to settle.
I know it's even more discouraging when people try to offer suggestions about what else you could be doing, so I'll spare you and just offer ((hugs)).

We actually started tucking a blanket around baby girl's arms while she's in the car seat to see if it would help with the screaming in the car. Girl loves to be tucked in tight! Maybe you can do something similar with the swing - just tuck it around his arms behind his back? Good luck! My first hated the swing, but I never tried swaddling him in it (or a dark room and white noise...), so I don't know if he could have overcome it or not

I just hope that she follows suit and also "grows out of it". She's 10 weeks old.
