DS2 is currently trying an unswaddled nap on the couch. I'm hoping it's a decent nap so I feel brave enough to put him in the crib. Flat seems to be his biggest challenge.
R is currently taking an awesome nap. It's been 4 hours since he ate last. He never goes much more than 2.5 hours during the day. Do I wake him up to eat?? Probably not, right?

I did my workout video today while both kids were awake. DS just chilled in the bouncer the whole time and watched. DD decided she wanted to do her "exercises" like mommy. She copied everything I did and kept handing me my water the whole time. It was adorable. Also...pretty sure she did better than me. Kid has so. much. energy.

monicageller, I'm the odd man out - I wake my baby if she hasn't eaten in 3 hours because I've been burned long naps before. Hopefully it doesn't hold true for you!

For some reason I feel absolutely horrible about my baby sleeping at night in her own room! Hopefully I'm brave enough to do it on Sunday night. I'm waiting until then because H is going camping tomorrow night and I may need backup if this doesn't go well.

I'm about to attempt some more gardening with S. Our house was vacant for a year before we moved in, and we had to take out most of the garden plants while removing the overgrown weeds. So the front yard was a sad mess. I already planted three shrubs and two planters of flowers two days ago, and today I want to plant three more shrubs and do some weeding and mulching. I hope S cooperates!
@monicagellar I tend to wake during the afternoon. I need her last feeding to be between 7 and 8, and if I let her sleep too long, that gets messed up.

I didn't wake him, and he went 4.5 hours btwn feedings. Now if only he would do that at night now that we switched to the crib. Also- I wish he would warn me when he's going to do that. There are some projects in my list that I would have started had I known I would have so much time. I did get in my workout, a real shower and hair blow dry, lunch, some cleaning, and a bit of sitting around playing on my phone wondering when he would wake up.
You can get more with a broom sometimes! Also, my toddler is terrified of the vacuum cleaner. I guess that is normal for some kids?
LO1 was terrified of the vacuum till she was like 2.
Huh. My kid loves the vacuum. He's actually playing with it right now and wishing he knew how to turn it on...
My baby just slept in my arms after only being awake for 30 minutes. I'm currently worrying that she's getting sick, because she has been cranky all day and so sleepy. I should be taking my clothes off the clothesline - it's definitely going to thunderstorm...

I planned to take the kids to the park and to Sam's but DS2 slept until 10:30 this morning and then DD1 didn't take a nap. I figured I'll take the baby and leave the toddler at home for an early bedtime with DH but then he texted me that he was working late. I've only been to town once this week so I'm going a bit stir crazy. I did have time this morning to make an online order to pick up tomorrow at walmart. At least I don't have to walk through walmart to get those groceries.

Can someone send sleep vibes my way? We were up almost every hour last night. I have a cold and E is stuffy at night as well. I know I've been gone this week... the toddler hasn't been napping and I'm dealing with ... a lot... of anxiety.
BUT! We bought a van today! It's amazing and I'm so excited to have that done! My checking account is going to be a little less excited when that check clears, though.
We are having a thunderstorm right now. At bedtime. 😩
Otherwise we had a really good day. I took both kids to the mall. DS says "This is so beautiful! I love this place!" He picked out two dinosaur shirts at Gymboree. He was also very patient while I got new bras at Soma. He just sat on the floor eating timbits and singing a song about trains😂
We had swimming tonight, and now I'm rocking the baby. I'd like a cookie, please.
