Eczema Questions (mainly food allergy question)

I didn't want to hijack Milano's thread, so i made my own.

The baby has really bad eczema all over his body (excluding diaper area). The Doctor gave us a few options of creams and ideas to manage it, but until we figure out the trigger I feel that all we are doing is managing it. So now it is time to start looking at my diet, due to the toddler having the dairy intolerance she thought I should take it out of my diet to see. What are the other major intolerance/allergies that pass through breastmilk other than soy and dairy?

My fuzzy recollection is that we were also on the alert for nuts, eggs, wheat (gluten), citrus, chocolate

Eggs were a trigger for us. Wheat and corn are also high on the list.

How many things did you remove from your diet at once and for how long before reintroducing?

For me, egg was my first elimination because everything I read said all over eczema rash was probably due to egg and I had been eating a lot of eggs. I never ate much dairy. It took less than 1 week with the elimination of eggs and some hydrocortisone cream to clear up his entire body.

Thanks! I'm going to start with milk and egg. We think milk is a very low possibility, but since LO had an intolerance wanted to rule it out too.
