So, I was putting the baby back to bed at 5:30 when H showed up with DS. Apparently he woke up at 3:00 and was partying in the tent. H finally gave up and brought him home (they weren't camping very far away), and put him in the crib, but he didn't fall asleep again until almost 7:00. It's now 9:00 and I should wake him. He's soooo off schedule. Today will be fun...
Thankfully we're having visitors, which always makes the day better. My mom is coming this morning, and then my sister is coming this afternoon. Hopefully we'll visit my great grandma, although DS might stay home if he's being too cranky.
Well not a lot planned from r this weekend by intent. My mom will bring LO1 back home sometime this morning.
Gonna FaceTime with some out of town friends tonight. They have some fun news to share. I'm hoping its she prego. They've been trying for years and undergoing treatments.
I've been up since 4:45 when Z woke up and wanted to eat. This was after her 3am wake up because she busted out of the swaddle. I need to return some stuff to the mall and hopefully find a pair of black work pants I can fit into. That's really all on our agenda today.
DH comes home tomorrow, thank goodness. His plane doesn't land until 4:30 though. He drove to his coworkers house and they went to the airport together from there. I'm debating taking Z and surprising him at the airport. I know he misses her something fierce. I'd still have to drop him off at his car but he'd get to see her a couple of hours sooner. We'll see how tomorrow goes, the airport is about 40 minutes away.

E was up every two hours like clockwork, then up for the day at 6:30, ugh. H is OOT for a bachelor party and gets back here in a few hours.
I'm excited because I'm having a not-shower sort of baby shower at church this afternoon! They are calling it a "welcome tea" because I said I didn't really need anything... I'm not sure what to expect, but I'm happy I get a few hours and that this baby is being celebrated.

Good morning!
S only woke up at 3:30 and 6:30. My husband did the 6:30 feeding so I got a pretty solid night of sleep. I needed it too because I'm coming down with a cold... ugh.
Anyway, today my brother is coming down to visit us. We also have to prepare for tomorrow, when some friends are traveling to visit us. I need to do some shopping and cleaning. I'm hoping to get a walk in as well.

I actually have some similac coupons too.
I'm just finishing my workout, gotta shower and get K ready to be out the door. She has a birthday party, so we are getting a little alone time without the baby. DH is staying home with R. And then he has to go to some meetings. We had to turn our heat back on, and I'm not happy. It's been rainy and cool the last few days.

Seems like bad sleep was a theme last night. Baby took one long stretch of sleep early on, but we didn't get to take advantage of it because a huge thunderstorm and hail came through after we had been in bed only an hour and the city tornado sirens were going off. So we were up for a while and baby woke every 1-2 hours after that. We're headed to the mall where DH gets his haircut. Also must get to the grocery store at some point. No exciting plans here. Happy weekend!
I'm getting my hair cut this morning. The baby was napping and DH was forcing a pull-up on DS, so I was all FAMILY, BYE!
I am meeting them for lunch later, and it will be DH's first time wrangling both children out the door.
I have a rather extensive to-do list today, plus I'm making a new recipe for dinner. I would be appreciative if my family acted right so I could have a productive day. So that tomorrow I can go see Beauty & the Beast mostly guilt free.
We tried LO flat in the pnp last night. It wasn't awful, but she woke up too early to eat. I think we are going back to the bassinet. I'm not interested in fixing something that isn't broken. When I absolutely need to move her, I will. But no sense losing sleep I can't afford to lose at this point. Maybe when she's a little older, it'll be easier. Or she'll be more comfortable in her crib.

C had soccer this morning. It cold and windy here, so I took R for just a little while and then left when it was time to feed him. I'm taking C for a haircut this afternoon. Nothing else exciting going on.

Hi all.
I'm okay, thanks for asking, shellbell. I woke up at 4am and was up crying all morning.
I had a very necessary phone call with a friend (she's sort of an ersatz mom who's in her 60s) who told me that no matter what, I can never give anyone the keys to my self respect and never let anything question the kind of mother I'll be to E.
(Needless to say, part of the meeting yesterday included many personal attacks.)
Today I'm in a fog and just keep thinking "I can't believe this happened."
loves2shop4shoes- Glad you had a good friend IRL to cent to and also get positive and kind words from.
Well Lil G rolled from tummy to back this morning!! It was only once so we'll see if a fluke or if he's gonna keep at it. Guess it's good thing daycare only does naps in a crib because it'll help us st night time since he's apparently "mobile". DH and I are contemplating putting one of the cribs into our room to keep them in there longer. Gotta see it we can move w/o taking apart.

loves2shop4shoes - I caught up on the Friday thread. I'm so sorry. Please PM if you need to vent ((hugs))
I've been solo and crazy all week. Easter was a disaster. MH ended up in the ER because he had drainage from his balls. So I took both kids to church, my aunt's house, and MH's aunt's house. We started at 7 am and got home at 6 pm. All day solo sucked.
Monday and Tuesday I worked in the office and what a shit show... I'm dreading going back full time in a few weeks.
MH is still recovering from the hematoma. He has to soak in a hot tub 3x/day and let it drain. What a freaking nightmare. It's gonna take a month to heal. This happens to, like, 1% of vasectomies. Lame.
So I've been doing everything because apparently when your ball swells, your arms and hands stop working. WTF Tomorrow is C's baptism so I need him to man up. FX it happens because I hurt my back and can't - literally cannot - do it all alone tomorrow.
Oh, and my weight loss has stalled. And my supply is tanking because I'm cutting calories. Fun all around!

And C is still sleeping in the PnP bassinet. No regrets - he slept from 8 p.m. to 4 a.m., then back down until 7:30 a.m., then again until 9! Suck it, crib. PnP is king right now.

I'm glad I'm not the only one not committed to the crib just yet. It seems like LO is going through a mini regression and I cannot do the crib right now. Cannot.
oldbaylover1024 OMG. Ts&ps for you and for your h's balls. What a nightmare!
loves2shop4shoes hugs lady. Was the attorney helpful at all? I'm so sorry you are dealing with this.

loves2shop4shoes - I'm glad you had a chance to talk to you friend. That is insanely that they made it personal.
oldbaylover1024 - ouch to his privates and all the suckiness that is surrounding it.
wildflower810 and flyinghorses6 - if nobody on here can use them, I have a friend that is EFF with her 1 month old that uses Similac.
This weekend is a low-key one which is good for us since I have a cold. DH has been doing baby duty while I was busy doing housework. It's very nice to have an uninterrupted hour to clean!
It's been a bear of week. My dentist had a family emergency, so my abscessed tooth is waiting until Tuesday next week to get fixed. Massive discomfort. So many other appointments for the kids and it's stressing me out (financial drain). And potty training a super defiant almost 3 yr old is the life suck of all life sucks. And DH hasn't had a day off for work in the last 7 weeks besides Easter.

Catching up with what's been going on. Seems like yesterday was shitty for lots of people. Sorry all my empathy.
We went strawberry picking this morning. It was actually a lot of fun. They had a baby goat and chickens and horses too. DS1 had so much fun. Both kids are napping now. Baby is still sleeping for crap at night. It is what it is and it won't last forever. That's my mantra!
