So for the past couple of days Elise has been going to the potty pretty frequently- more so than normal and even just after she had gone! Then last night she whined and said it hurt, so I took her in this am for a quick urine test and it came back normal. They are still going to send it off to culture so we will see what that says. She hasn't complained of it hurting this morning or anymore last night.
I talked to my mom and her dr a little more and they also said that change, even minimal can cause toddlers to have frequent urination. And we did just move Vera into her room to sleep at night so maybe that's the reason?? Anyone have any experience with this? How long did it take them to get back to normal?

I feel like we went thru this right about 2 months ago? Coco was fascinated with going all the freaking time. Like 4-5 times during dinner. But I think ours was more that she wanted attention or she was bored (didn't want to sit still and eat). I'd say it lasted about 2 weeks was gone and then came back for a few days and gone again. I'm not sure that I associated it with any change, so that is interesting. I thought it truly was an attention thing.
She still goes about 6-7 times a day at daycare which seems crazy.
Thanks xanthepants! I think it's probably a bit of attention mixed in there too! I guess I will just ride it out and not draw any more attention to it..
Hanna frequently goes but it's mainly for attention, stall tactics, or to get a treat. I should probably stop with the treats, but I don't want her to regress so I've been hesitant. I have cut down on the quantity of treats though. Just last night alone while I was tucking her into bed she asked to go so we went. Then as I was tucking her in again she said she had to go again. MOTY I ignored her because I figured it was a stalling technique and she was asleep in 10 minutes.
I'd be worried too but hopefully it's nothing! Is she that way at home? Mine like to go frequently but only when we're out, especially at a restaurant. I guess they get bored at the table.

J asks to go in public too sometimes, but then doesn't go... I did the same thing as a kid because I just wanted to see the restrooms!
Usually after that though she will ask to go again, and will. I haven't dealt with the frequent peeing though, wish I could help there.
Kayleigh will do the same sometimes. It seems like sometimes she will either have to go constantly or she can hold it for long periods of time. i also think it sometimes has to do with attention.
