I wanted to be sure to wish a happy birthday to chrispy1122 's little guy. Hope your birthday celebrations went well today!
Thanks! It was fun and low key. My mom made all the food (a Korean feast) so all I really had to take care of was making sure to make rice, a few appetizers, and cake. Adam's side looks forward to it (I think) and everything was delicious. O made out like a bandit. E was a sweet big sister and helped O by bringing the presents over, helping him open presents, and showing him how to give thank you hugs. Everyone hung out until around midnight (after the kids went to bed) and played board games, which was so fun.
I made the mistake of perusing Pinterest the night before the party (when it's too late to make anything anyway), but I did manage to make these:
Not sure what we are getting into today. Should be semi nice later. We hung out with friends yesterday. It was nice and the big especially enjoyed having someone to play with other than his brother.
Happy birthday to DS chrispy1122 love the cookies!
Yesterday was a busy day. I'm in this nesting phase and have a lot I want to do when I'm feeling good, but I think I realized this morning, i need to slow it down cuz I don't wanna be the reason the babies come early.
On the flip side, I got some good deals at the OUAC bag sale yesterday, and H and I finished organizing the twins room! And we had a delicious dinner at Jags. I might eat my leftover filet for breakfast lol
H made the mistake of mentioning the Dayton airplane museum and that's the first thing he wanted to do today. But then the baby decides to take an 1.5 nap and then that puts our leave time getting there at the bigs nap time. Sigh. Nap times with two are hard. The little is flexible, the big isn't. But the little won't fall asleep out. I will be so sad if we stay in the house all summer because I can't get them both to do anything at the same time.

That sounds horrible can dc help to shift nap times to match.

The little doesn't sleep on a schedule yet. He's all over the place with times and lengths. I'm going to work on getting him to take one nap as early as possible but that still doesn't help the 6 month- 1 year range. Typically that age group takes two naps, one morning and one afternoon. I have yet to get the two afternoon naps to line up myself so I doubt daycare could either. The little seems to stretch longer in the morning than the big ever did so I'm hopeful he goes to one nap sooner.
I just dropped off my child and my dog with my mom so I could do some sewing before a birthday party this afternoon. The dog was way more sad than the boy. He didn't even want to say bye 😑
Everyone just left and I'm relaxing on the couch at last. Bub was most sad to see my brother's dog leave. Now to clean up and get ready to go back to work tomorrow. I also need to get my new phone set up finally.

Happy birthday O!
We got DDs hair cut today and you can't even really notice a difference. But I'm fine with it. I just felt like at almost 2.5, she should have a haircut in the books lol they charged us less, which was good. Then we went shopping at the liberty center. It was a nice morning.
We are just relaxing this afternoon. Which I am happy about. Lazy afternoons ftw. They are far and few between these days.
