Good morning. DS is sick again. I'm pretty sure his sinus infection is back. We just finished the Amoxicillin a few days ago, but the same exact symptoms came roaring back, starting in Friday, but really badly yesterday (tons of snot, fever, doesn't like us to touch his face, etc). I talked to the on-call doctor (whom I love) and she put him on a different antibiotic, so hopefully that will do the trick. She said if he's not feeling better by Monday to bring him in to be seen and get a flu test. I really don't think it's the flu, but who knows.
My 8 year old niece is performing in a youth theater production of Annie today (she's playing Tessie), so we're going to that this afternoon. DS was supposed to go to my SIL's house, but DH is going to stay home with him and just the girls and I will go to the play. There's a food truck festival going on in the same town right now, and my sister said they're planning to go after the play, so maybe we'll go check it out.

htle07, becole, huh, 3 months sounds about right here. Mine feel out starting mid-December and slowed down mid-March. Such a relief.
jwinct So sorry DS is sick again, poor kiddo needs a break (as do mom and dad!). Have fun at the play, and the food truck fest sounds awesome!
Sun is unexpectedly out today, but its a bit chilly. I think we're doing Target and groceries, with a possible trip to one of the regional big malls (request by DH) to just walk about, window shop, maybe grab a quick bite. We're all still sick here, but are in varying degrees of recovery so I'm grateful. Have some home chores to do but managed to get a lot of them done yesterday for which I am proud.

My hair loss has definitely slowed down which I great. I'm sure DH appreciates not having to unclog the shower drain every week now!
jwinct So sorry DS is still sick. Hope he starts feeling better!
Playdate with a few daycare friends this morning. DD misses her little girlfriends so much so should be fun. DH has a floor hockey game this afternoon and is bringing DD to watch. She's been asking to go. She loves playing hockey with him so we are thinking of putting her in skating lessons this summer and maybe hockey next winter if she's still interested.
For fun I was looking at houses for sale yesterday and found a perfect one for us just outside the city. DH agreed it was perfect. We chatted a lot about our goals and hopefully in the next year we'll be moving. Our goal is to rent out our house and buy a 3rd but if we can't make it work we'll just sell ours. I was so ready to call a realtor and the bank yesterday to figure out how to get this house, it was so perfect.
On the topic of hair, is anyone else's scalp itchy? Mine has been and dh mentioned maybe it was due to hair regrowth after the postpartum hair loss. TBH, I've always been a shredder so it hasn't really stooped but maybe slowed a little. We're off to MILs. Then meeting cousins at the zoo. It's gonna be a nap in the car/no nap day. I got a second straight night of sleep in the guest room while DH dealt with DD2. She was up again at 12 for 40 minutes and on and off around. I fed her at 6. If she goes down for 4 hours after the 12 o'clock wake up I can't imagine that she needs to eat. I just don't know what to do about it, what to do about 4 am waking, when to totally night wean. There's so many opinions out there! I don't want to do the wrong thing. I know I'm a broken record. Even with the second night if good sleep I've already lost my patience on the 3 year old this morning too. Which is making me feel crappy. Sigh.
jwinct LT for the food truck festival, that sounds amazeballs. Sorry DS is sick.
I broke my steak since I didn't check in yesterday. I worked a half day (7a-noon) and when I got home DS1 was acting sick and clingy. I'm still not sure what his problem was, or is really, because he's still not acting normal. He complained that his belly hurt, and it was very bloated and distended, but he never puked or had any diarrhea. In fact, H said he had a totally normal poop while I was at work. Who knows? He's been a little gun shy about bellyaches and pooping since his GI bug a couple weeks ago, so maybe he's just being dramatic.
It's another beautiful sunny day here. Temps are supposed to be in the high 60s, so if both these kids cooperate I'm anticipating lots of afternoon outside time.
hikingmama222 I feel you on the moving excitement. Since we're really ramping up getting ready to sell our current house and looking hard at properties and builders, it's practically all I think about.
Oh! On the topic of hair...I chopped mine off last Saturday. I go in spurts, usually every summer, where I get tired of it and chop it all off. It feels so light!
sanibel21 I'm debating night weaning too because lately I feel like a human pacifier. But I'll probably wait until summer when she's not at daycare so I know she's eating enough during the day.
Officially joined our church this morning. We've been looking for one since we moved to lowa and I think we finally found a good fit.
Gorgeous today. I'm going to clean off our screened porch for the season. I wish I could afford super comfy furniture for it.

My ILs left a few hours ago. I'm sitting at Dunkin carefully eating a wake up wrap and drinking my iced tea with no straw. I returned some stuff at Kohls and am heading to the grocery store next. It's beautiful so we'll probably be outside later. I also pulled out the 9 month clothes from N and realized that it was mostly winter stuff. There is some spring stuff we can use but not too much. Oh well, an excuse to shop I suppose. 😃

V likes to sing to C and kiss and call her sweet baby Coraline while simultaneously poking her in the eye or twisting her arm in some unnatural position. Toddlers are horrible. It's so loving and yet so violent.

We like to say that N loves his brother, sometimes a little too much. N likes to grab onto G's feet while I'm holding him, move G's arms like they're wings, or, my personal favorite, comes over to kiss G's head while G is nursing. The words "give your brother some space" come out of my mouth at least 100 times a day.
