Eats: Making one small change this week: aiming for more veggies and fruits.
Sweats: Daily walks as long as my knees will allow.
Highs/Lows: High: We had our Jack and Jill party and our wedding shower this past weekend. That meant eating ALL THE FOOD and I am paying for it today.
This Weeks Goals: Lose SOME weight. I don't even care if it's just a pound.
Long Term Goals: Lose 170 lbs. Gah. It seems scary to think how big that number is. QOTW: Least favorite form of exercise? Probably burpees. I can't do them at all now, but even when I could I hated them with the fiery heat of a thousand suns.
Eats: I fell off the bandwagon with portion sizes/snacks last week which was the biggest change I made to my diet so far so I need to fix that again!
Sweats: I have two daily workout check ins that I keep up with
Highs/Lows: high: we finished the BBM 6.0 workout and I got right back into it with the next challenge that we decided to do. I'm so glad I didn't "celebrate" with a break and kept right going
Lows: previously mentioned excessive snacking last week, whoops.
This Weeks Goals: better food choices
Long Term Goals: maintain a healthier lifestyle. I have more weight to lose but that's become less of a priority than just doing things I need to do to stay healthy.
QOTW: Least favorite form of exercise? The thought of just going out for a run is so unappealing to me. It's one of those things I wish I wanted to do because whenever I have in the past it feels so good in the end but ugh.
I'm going to join you all here! I just started really getting into a routine and it feels sustainable for the long haul.
Eats: In general I'm working on eating more balanced and cleaner (less processed, added sugar, etc.). I've been doing pretty good with meals. My specific goal this week is to do better with snacks: more fruits/veggies/meat/cheese/nuts and not snacking because I'm bored/watching TV/out of habit.
Sweats: A friend turned me on to Cassey Ho. She does a bunch of YouTube workout videos and if you subscribe to her email list she sends a monthly workout calendar with clickable links to her videos (different ones each day). I have NEVER liked working out, but for some reason unbeknownst I actually LIKE to do these ones. Hoping it sticks!
Highs/Lows: I'm just getting into it so no real lows yet. I have been working out consistently for about a week though. Which is a big deal for me.
This Weeks Goals: I put this above under eats.
Long Term Goals: Ultimate goal: healthier lifestyle. Smaller (vain) goals: look/feel amazing in the dress I bought for a bachelorette party I'm attending in late May and look/feel amazing in the dress I'm wearing to a wedding in July.
QOTW: Least favorite form of exercise? Hmmm. This is a good one. Abs is definitely my least favorite thing to work out.

Eats: Not doing anything special
Sweats: I jogged 2.5 miles yesterday, and on Saturday I marched (for science!!) 2 miles with a 20lb baby strapped to me.
Highs/Lows: I was sick last week, which put a serious damper on my exercise plans. I sorta feel like crap jogging... it takes almost nothing to get me up to my max heart rate.
This Weeks Goals: More of a short-term goal - I just want to feel a little stronger when I jog so that I start enjoying it and stop dreading it.
Long Term Goals: Be able to run a 10k. Be able to hike a big mountain and/or go for a long backpacking trip with a heavy pack or a heavy baby on my back.
QOTW: Least favorite form of exercise? Oh, I have A LOT of opinions here. I abhor gyms, especially group exercise classes. Exercise is deeply private and personal for me and I don't want to sweat with anyone except myself and maybe my husband. I also hate exercise machines of all sorts, weight lifting, barre, pilates, cross-fit, Zumba, exercise videos... you name it. Exercise must carry me from point A to point B, outdoors, preferably somewhere beautiful. In other words, I hike/backpack, run, walk, bicycle, canoe/kayak, and snowshoe. Nothing else.

Eats: working on getting more plant based proteins. Right now the only "meat" I'm eating is eggs and the only dairy is kefir. I need to get some peas and need to make beans.
Sweats: Made it to the gym last night for the first time since my leg was hurt. Man did it feel great. I'm a little sore but nothing major. Going again tonight and hopefully at least 3 more times this week.
Highs/Lows: I have stuck pretty well to my sugar free, low grain, low dairy vegetarian diet. It's definitely been a culinary challenge but well worth it digestively speaking. I also lost 5lbs.
This Weeks Goals: work out 4x and move more in general.
Long Term Goals: live healthier and lose something in the neighborhood of 70lbs.
QOTW: Least favorite form of exercise? Things like sit ups, squats, leg raises, burpees. I prefer weights and simple cardio like treadmill, stair climber and elliptical.

Eats: I strayed a bit from my diet last week and gained so that was disheartening. I didn't fee like I went crazy, just a couple extras. I was doing nutrisystem but I don't think my body likes it. I am generally losing weight, but I keep O'ing later and later. So I'm switching to ww and I am going to try to do Whole Foods and whole grains only.
Sweats: I swam three days last week which is my usual.
Highs/Lows: Really discouraged with the gain. I hate feeling like I can't make a single misstep and at least maintain. I do think eating healthier is going to be good for me, it's just more work.
This Weeks Goals: I'm going to take a break this week but try not to completely overdo it. Hoping to feel better if I do a better job nourishing myself.
Long Term Goals: lose almost 30 lbs.
QOTW: Least favorite form of exercise? Umm. Everything? I really don't like to exercise lol. Probably jogging. So boring.
Eats: meh. I ate relatively good during the week. And then I made brownies. So good though. My birthday is Saturday so I don't anticipate this week being much better.
Sweats: 7 days of workouts!
Highs/Lows: too much sugar, but I lost half a pound.
This Weeks Goals: veggies at every meal, lots of water
Long Term Goals: lose 12 pounds
QOTW: Least favorite form of exercise? I'm not a huge fan of plyometrics, but I think Pilates and yoga are at the bottom of my list. I'd rather run for an hour than do 30 minutes of yoga.
Eats: I met my goal of adding in an extra serving of vegetables last week.
Sweats: I didn't exercise at all. I was more active in general but didn't actually set aside time to walk.
Highs/Lows: We're going to the beach next weekend and I went shopping yesterday for some clothes. It was depressing and I ended up leaving empty handed, as usual. Here's something embarrassing about myself: I buy just the minimum amount of clothes to get by. I have 3-5 basic t-shirts and two pairs of jeans. I have been saying to myself for years that there's no need to buy more clothes, I'll lose weight soon and they won't fit. This, of course, has never happened. I beat myself up a lot mentally and it's something I need to work on.
This Weeks Goals: Cut back on sugar intake and walk 30 minutes 5 days. Long Term Goals: Lost 95 pounds, run a 5K, learn to be kind to myself.
QOTW: Least favorite form of exercise? Maybe push-ups. I have no upper body strength.
I have done the same thing with clothes. Right now I have two skirts, one pair of jeans and a pair of capris, plus maybe 3 shirts I actually like on me. I refused to buy more because "I'll lose weight soon" or "don't waste money buying clothes, just lose the weight" or "you'll just have to buy again when you lose weight". But a friend convinced me that if I feel better about myself, I'm more likely to take care of myself. And it's true. I actually feel pretty again now that I have some nicer clothes to wear. Before I went shopping I had one skirt and a pair of jeans and one shirt that really fit. Getting dressed everyday was a beating myself up fest. It really sucked. I need to buy more but right now I'm happy to have that.
