How often are you nursing? Solids? NOD, and since she's still refusing to really eat solids when h isn't home, it's a lot. Maybe 8-10 times a day. Not always long sessions, though. And 2-4 overnight.
How are nights? Meh. Not great.
How is pumping/nursing going? Pretty well.
Q/rants/cute stories: Not bf related, but last night we were having strawberries for our bedtime snack and she ate all hers so she came over to me. I had one left on my plate so I hurried to grab it before she did, but she started crying and saying no no no no no. Lol it was too cute.
GTKY: What are you looking forward to? The ILs visiting and her birthday party! One more month.

Ds is 10 months. I pump twice a day at work and bf on demand otherwise. Nights are crappy as he's up 2-3 times to eat and I'm dying. Bf has been really easy for me this time and I have enough in the freezer to make it to a year. He's loving solids and really is much more into those than bottles but still likes bf. He will hit my breast, sign more, and head butt my chest when he wants to eat. I am going to start weaning soon but am not remembering how I did it with ds1. I'm trying to cut out a motn feeding but he really isn't having it and screams forever so it's been very difficult. He also eats a lot at night so I'm thinking he actually is hungry even though he should be able to make it much longer than 4 hours. So my plan is to get down to pumping once and one motn feeding over the next couple of weeks then start dropping a feeding every few days. Hopefully this goes well because I need more sleep.

Hey people! I've haven't been active on TCF in months, but I've been lurking like crazy lately so thought I'd jump in here :-)
How old is baby? 8 months
How often are you nursing? Solids? Usually 6x per 24hrs, occasionally an extra time. We've been doing solids since 5.5 months and DS is doing GREAT with them. He eats everything. 3 meals a day.
How are nights? He wakes up 1x per night to nurse, anywhere from 3am-5:30am
How is pumping/nursing going? Nursing is going GREAT. I don't know if I would still be doing it if I didn't get to start a new job where I work from home 90% of the time, and so I don't have to pump. Pumping just didn't go well for me I did not respond to it and was always stressed about making enough. I'm also lucky that DS has zero teeth so far, so I haven't had to deal with any painful biting yet.
Q/rants/cute stories: Just a slight rant - I haaaaaate when people act shocked that I'm still nursing, or make any comments regarding when they think I should stop. My mom (who I am SUPER close with) is very supportive of my breastfeeding, I do it in front of her and she always says how beautiful it is and she can tell how much DS loves it..... and yet.. she has asked me several times when I plan on stopping, and I'll usually say "Well, probably after he's one, but I'm not in a huge rush" - and she ALWAYS says "Okay, well...just don't still be doing it when he can ask for it. I think that's weird." Um thanks, I don't remember asking for your opinions. End rant.

How old is baby? E is 6 months old yesterday
How often are you nursing? Solids? No nursing. We are waiting until her appointment next week to discuss starting solids, she is just eating cereal now.
How are nights? Not bad she wake up only once to feed around 1am.
How is pumping/nursing going? Pumping is going well. I made it to 6 months so now I am just taking it month by month because of low supply.
Q/rants/cute stories:
GTKY: What are you looking forward to? Everything, every day.

How old is baby? 7 1/2 months
How often are you nursing? Solids? 6-8 times on demand when I'm with him all day, 3-4 times on days I work in the office. He has some pureed fruits most a few days a week. We're trying to get better about offering some solids daily and have done pretty well this week. His favorite food so far is definitely peanut butter. He LOVES it!!
How are nights? Pretty good. I've been hesitant to put this in writing because I don't want to jinx anything, but we've reached the point where we expect him to STTN and when he doesn't it's an off night. I imagine this will change once his teeth really start coming in.
How is pumping/nursing going? Good. Most days I pump slightly more than he drinks so that's a big win. Nursing is going well too. But again...no teeth yet.
Q/rants/cute stories: Not nursing related, but I waved to DS yesterday across the room and he smiled and waved back.
GTKY: What are you looking forward to? Vacation days. We have nothing planned, but I'm looking forward to taking days off so I can just hang out with DS more. I foresee pool days at my parents' house and I'm looking forward to getting DS in the water.
How often are you nursing? Solids? On demand. He is still eating purees. He doesn't crawl yet, so not sure about doing other foods yet.
How are nights? Ok, he still wakes up around 2 times a night on average.
How is pumping/nursing going? I pump a lot fewer ozs than I did with DS1. Other than that, it's going fine.
Rants: I have a 6 day work travel trip starting this weekend. I'm tired of being away from my baby for so long.
GTKY: What are you looking forward to? Summer for sure
Babies don't have to crawl before being given regular foods. My dd never ate purees, went straight to table foods at 6 months and did fine.
Yeah I know, I didn't with my older son either. I did more BLW with him. It's more just laziness with the second with a side of "the package for older food says crawler age" lol

I haven't checked in here for awhile but I think I could use the camaraderie so here goes:
How old is baby? 6.5 mo
How often are you nursing? Solids? Nursing some nights, doing purees & BWL.
How are nights? He's starting to sleep through for the most part.
How is pumping/nursing going? Had the flu a month ago and my supply hasn't come back yet. DS notices. I try to nurse some nights and some weekends and follow up with formula because I probably only have 1-3oz for him.
Q/rants/cute stories: I didn't mind pumping for him, as inconvenient as it was, when I was getting 25oz a day. Struggling to pump 10oz a day is such an energy sapper. I wish I had enough to really nurse him properly. I miss the snuggles - with the low supply, he's much more distracted, frustrated, and wiggly.
GTKY: What are you looking forward to? My dad may be coming out from Indiana to visit for Memorial Day weekend, hoping so.
