1. How did last week go? Great! Made my goal of 6 workouts and all of my meals were on track/clean eating expect for my cheat meal last night which was pizza and a Cadbury egg 😜
2. Goals for this week? 6 workouts again. Also try to up my water intake.
3. Food thoughts (recipes, grocery shopping, etc.) I'm trying buffalo chicken zucchini boats one night (http://www.thewholesomedish.com/buffalo-chicken-zucchini-boats/). Also bought some shrimp to grill one night and then salmon for another night. I'm trying to do my meal planning for next week since I go back to work I bought some compartment Tupperware containers to help with the prep.
4. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts: It's so much easier to get in my workouts and meal planning while on leave. Next week is going to be a rude awakening.
5. GTKY. Cook: I love grilled salmon, brown rice and grilled asparagus. I put the salmon in foil with lemon, dill, garlic and coconut oil. I brush the asparagus with coconut oil and finish it with lemon juice and some freshly grated parm. Out: Chick Fil A grilled nuggets + superfood side salad + their fruit bowl.
1. How did last week go? Not bad. I had been hitting my water goal so I upped it. I also got 2 walks in but only 4 days of my squat challenge.
2. Goals for this week? Keep water intake and food up while back at work.
3. Food thoughts (recipes, grocery shopping, etc.) Send and quick/easy/healthy meal ideas my way! Working FT and twins I'm gonna need ideas quick!
4. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts:
5. GTKY. What is your go-to staple healthy meal to cook or grab while you're out? Cook- Anything grilled because I like caprese salad or any fresh veggie as a side. Out- I'm bad. If I'm out to dinner I don't try to eat healthy. I eat what I enjoy. Sometimes it's healthy and sometimes now.

1. Last week went alright. I didn't get to the gym as frequently as I usually do; but overall I hit most of my workouts.
2. I want to get to the gym 3-4 more times before I start back to work Tuesday night. And get at least 1 outdoor run.
3. DH needs to get groceries today! I'm thinking salmon tonight, and probably our usual chicken, veggie, rice/sweet potato most of the week. We are so boring, but it works.
4. Down another pound. Pretty sure this is why my supply is low but I'm still producing enough for now. I'm not doing anything drastic so I hope my body continues to maintain the supply I do have.
5. We literally eat grilled chicken, some sort of veggie, and brown rice or sweet potato 4x a week. I also eat a salad every day for lunch. I usually throw in whatever leftovers we have.

So funny pivot I just bought new glass Tupperware to prep for my return to work. It is so hard to figure out when and what to eat in the middle of the night. I bring dinner food and without fail I wish I brought breakfast food. I also need to stop eating by 3 am to get 8 hours of fasting in (which most people get while sleeping) and it is SOOO hard. Ugh night shift is so unhealthy.
flyinghorses6 I never even though about the food factor that goes into working night shift! Especially the 8 hour fasting aspect. So much to think about.

It sucks!! Some days I eat 5 meals, others 2. Ughhh
1. How did last week go? Mediocre. I got good workouts when I got to work out. It's still difficult to time it right after work hours when none of the kids are hungry and we're not putting R&G to bed too late.
2. Goals for this week? Same as before: three workouts.
3. Food thoughts (recipes, grocery shopping, etc.) Try to eat something more nutritious than the kids leftovers. If I have a healthy snack, either hide while I eat it or make sure I have enough to share with the kids. On Sunday they ate my cottage cheese.
4. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts: I go back to work next Monday. Most of my pants don't fit and even my leggings will probably give me a muffin top until I can get my abs working right again to hold everything together. Maternity clothes are too big. Do I really need to buy new clothes for work?
5. GTKY. What is your go-to staple healthy meal to cook or grab while you're out? Subway while out. Probably BBQ pork from the slow cooker at home with whatever steamed veggie and bread machine bread. It's hard to have a go-to meal when most meals are "shit, what should we eat before kids get up/so we can go to bed?"
1. Last week went good activity-wise. I met my goals and then some. Food was still not great.
2. Same goals as last week: active minutes 6/7 days, exceed step goal 3x. I'm also going to try to not eat anything between breakfast and lunch.
3. I feel like we eat so much healthier in the summer -- grilled meat and salad or veggie. Lighter meals. I'm looking forward to meal planning those meals! 4. Not that I can think of 5. Grilled chicken and veggies is my go to healthy meal. But I'm happy when I can serve a potato-less meal and sneak in something like black beans. I struggle with healthy meals out because French fries.
flyinghorses6 I say this without an ounce of snark and as someone who struggles with a picky preschooler. Does your DD1 eat the same meals as you? Are you worried about her being picky? I put so much effort into meal planning so that DS is exposed to lots of different things. Not that it seems to help.
1. How did last week go? I finished the 6 week postpartum challenge workouts I was doing from benderfitness.com. I tweaked my back though Sunday so I am taking a breather this week before I jump back into things.
2. Goals for this week? Eat clean, don't order take out, survive DH being out of town.
3. Food thoughts (recipes, grocery shopping, etc.) My DH is away this week so I prepped some easy to grab and go meals for the week so I don't order take out. I made salsa chicken in the crock pot (chicken with a jar of salsa, frozen corn and black beans shredded) to have over salads, brown rice or in a quesadilla. That should be good for a few meals.
4. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts: DH and I did a weight loss challenge we started 8 weeks ago and finished today. I lost 14lbs and he lost 13, I won! We put up $1000 for the other to spend on whatever they want. I am debating between new clothes or a standup paddle board. I am so excited I won!
5. GTKY. What is your go-to staple healthy meal to cook or grab while you're out? Our go to at home is either a quick veggie and chicken stir fry with TJs frozen brown rice or anything on the grill. If I am out I try and order grilled fish dishes.
Question - I just finished a 6 week postpartum workout plan and I need a next thing to do. I need something that has a set plan, preferably online/streaming. I was contemplating doing the one year of beachbody on demand for $99. Has anyone else done this and had success?

Omg she is the WORST! I make her separate food because she almost never eats what we eat. She loves pastas- tomato sauce, mac n cheese, stir fry noodles. And she loves cheese! Like grilled cheese, string cheese, pirates booty. She does eat a ton of fruit- halos, berries, bananas and apples almost every single day. Veggies are a struggle. And protein wise she eats chicken nuggets, turkey dogs, hummus, and peanut butter. She doesn't eat large amounts of anything, and kinda grazes all day. I am constantly worried she doesn't eat enough. She downs whole milk, and chocolate milk so I hope that makes up some of the calories. She's so tall and skinny.

1. How did last week go? Last week wasn't good. I'm turning over a new leaf this week. I ordered a new charger for my fitbit so I'm being more aware of how active I am and I started using my fitness pal again to be more accountable with what I eat.
2. Goals for this week? Get at least 5,000 steps a day and watch what I eat.
3. Food thoughts (recipes, grocery shopping, etc.) I found an app called Mealime based on a recommendation and have found some really good recipes.
4. Questions/AW/Rants/Thoughts: I want to make some slow fermented bread and waffles this week. It's supposed to cut down on the carbs. I need to find a container to make it in.
5. GTKY. What is your go-to staple healthy meal to cook or grab while you're out? At home I like to use low carb tortillas to make wraps or sausage egg and cheese burritos. Out of the house I like to get tacos and eat the meat, lettuce and cheese out of it.
