I'm on mobile now so I'll post and then post a pic separately if babes aren't done nursing. I figured out why I've been so short with pumping. Daycare is doing last bottles at 3:00/3:30 and so when I pick up at 4 they aren't hungry till 5. My last pump was at 2 so I was ready to nurse but they weren't. No more bottles after 3. They can fuss for 1/2 hour.
Got to take on a new role at work I'm super excited over! I'll basically be a lead/trainer/tester for a few of the systems we use. It'll be 20% more work with no compensation but it's the stepping stone into the area and group my 2 dream jobs within my company are at. The girl leaving this role got one of the jobs I want. So her moving proves I may have to sit for a bit but door does open!!!

So annoyed. Next week is my last week of leave. Tuesday I have jury duty and will spend the rest of my time planning J's 4th birthday party. Jury duty was annoying enough (I tried to get out of it, but no dice)... But planning yet another gathering?! I'm pretty over it. We've seen our families a ton and, while I love them, we've moved the party date twice because of them. And now I'll spend my last week cleaning, shopping, cooking, and doing yard work and still solo parenting because MH is still laid up with his stupid balls. LOUD NOISES.
But it's for my rainbow. So... Sigh... Party planning it is.
ETA I know I sound spoiled and annoying complaining about a party. But between Easter at three places, the baptism last weekend that was 2 hours away, and MH being laid up, I was looking forward to a quiet last week.
And I'm going back to work fat. Which sucks. This ML did not end up like I wanted... NICU to sick, stupid H. Bleck.

I just got done making DH and DD waffles. Now I've got to figure something for me to eat because I'm trying to eat healthy. It sucks. I want all the carbs!
We are trying the crib. It's not going well. She's crying (and being held by dh). She was sound asleep when I laid her down and was wide awake within 10 minutes.

I make pancakes with 1 egg, 1/2 cup unsweetened almond milk, 1/2 cup rolled oats, a banana, baking powder, cinnamon and vanilla when I'm craving breakfast but want to be healthy.
ETA: I blend them all together in the blender and put them on the griddle with some coconut oil. I'll eat them with either warmed almond butter or a tsp. of pure maple syrup or Greek yogurt with berries.
First solo day of 5 and so far so good. Both girls are asleep in their rooms, I made whipped cream and had it over a large bowl of berries with some wine before bed. I prepped Stella's lunch and school items for the morning so I am hoping for another good day tomorrow.

I feel ya shellbell. We have been working on the crib transition . He'll go to sleep ok, but he is giving me much shorter stretches then I know he would in the rnp. Also, lately after the first wake up it is taking forever to get him back down. I keep telling myself, better now than when I'm back at work.
I'm home! Or will be soon once my taxi arrives. SO freakin happy to be back. I missed my little guy. I'm actually pretty excited for his motn wakeup so I can steal some snuggle time.
I wish they made toddler sized RNPs so this transition wasn't a thing. Then the next transition could be to a hammock or something. Like pirates.
I've been mainly lurking because going back to work, even though it's mostly from home, has hit me like a ton of bricks. I'm just all of a sudden SO TIRED even though sleep has mostly been the same. I went into work yesterday for my annual review (which went awesome, tg) and I couldn't keep my eyes open. During my review!!! I have to get it together before I'm back in the office full time.

I'll have to try that. I didn't have the energy tonight to make anything else so I had yogurt and a glass of wine.
linewifekat Yogurt and wine sounds like a winner too lol. I usually make a big batch on Sundays when I do my meal prepping and then just heat them up throughout the week. They reheat well!
So finally got to FaceTime with our friends and apparently do not hang out with us IRL because they are also having twins!! Identical girls!!! So happy for them!!

My baby just spit up basically an entire feeding at 2:30 in the morning. And she never spits up, so now I'm wondering what is going on. And she's not going to sleep either. I'd bring her to bed with me, but I'm kind of worried about all that spit up happening in our bed next time!
