I have a phone call to make this morning for a story and then am planning on working on sorting through the massive amount of clothes and hand me downs we have. De-cluttering resumes today!

Well, pre-k was having a breakfast fundraiser thing at DC this morning so it was utter chaos at drop-off, and I also didn't see any of the directors or assistant directors to talk about the incident with DS2 yesterday. However, when I dropped DD in her room, I told the infant teacher what happened (she had DS2 when he was 3 and she used to be in the room he is currently in before moving over to be the lead teacher for infants), and she was PISSED and said that absolutely should not have happened and that a teacher should have been supervising. So, I am back to being pretty upset again. DH said he is going to try to get there early today and he is going to speak to the teacher he talked to yesterday (who told him about it) and then also the director.

ksyknelvr73, I hope you get some answers. I would be livid about the whole situation.

So apparently I did not have extra clothes for N at school, because when I picked him up, he was wearing another boy's extra pants. Oops. The pants were a 4T, so they were short on him (he's wearing a size 6 now). I think I'll ask MH to wash them today so I can drop them (and extra clothes) on my way to work tomorrow.

Tonight I am going to a Paint Nite fundraiser for the day care with my work BFF. I am so excited for a night out! We both need it. We looked at the menu yesterday to determine what would be okay for me to eat with my teeth. A glass of wine will be had, since my post-op instructions said no alcohol for 5 days. Today is day 6 .

I would call and leave a long message for the director or write her an email. That's what I do and she's ready and looking for me or H at pickup to discuss.

This baby only nurses one side and the other side is so so sore and clogged by the time I pump the next day. This happened with my first pregnancy and this time I really tried not to make a preference. But ever since he got bottles, he wants my fast flow and letdown left boob and will suck for just a few seconds on my right. Last time I eventually let my right dry up at like 8/9 months. I didn't want to do that this time because I look so lopsided- like C cup and DDD/ E cup. It's really uncomfortable in bathing suits because either the big boob is popping out or the little one is showing because the cup is too big for it. Uggg. Why

Working from home today with the boys at daycare. I'm hoping to wrap up a couple boring projects today so I can be done with them.

I feel like I had more to say here, but I can't think of anything.

Pump break at work. Woke up at 5:30 to get a work out in, and it felt so good (although now my legs are on fire!). My supply seems to have dipped a bit, so I'm trying to pump every two hours today to get it back up.

My co-workers is in labor right now - her water broke at around 3am. Her EDD is 5/8, but she was 3cm dilated at her appointment on Monday and they were going to induce her on 5/1 if she didn't go into labor because her baby was measuring very large and they didn't want her to go past her due date. Hopefully things will go quickly and smoothly for her! We go to the same OB practice and I wonder which OB is going to deliver her baby boy.

becole How often are you nursing that this is an issue? I'd hate being lopsided.

I downloaded an app last night to help me track my steps, weight, and food intake. And I eat so many calories. SO MANY, even if they're good calories like a nut mix for a snack. And I'm still starving. And yes not pumping that much milk. :/ I already put in my lunch to calc how I'm doing for the day and it says only 300 calories left.

I want my snacks, guys.

jcrewgirl I emailed DH and told him I felt like he needed to call up there before he went to get them. I have been hesitant to talk to anyone because I wasn't the one who picked the kids up and I wasn't the one who talked to the teacher. I wanted DH to be able to say word for word what was told to him and I don't want to mess up any details. If it had been me, I would have already dealt with it. Hopefully he does call - I think if he will now that I said I think that's what needs to happen.

I don't think it matters who calls- the director is going to need to go down and talk to the teachers and get the full story and all the details before she can talk to either of you about it. So to me, put her on notice early so she can get the scoop and discuss at pick up.

I was a little lopsided before- like maybe 1/2 a cup size. Nursing, they're a full cup and 1/2 different. If he weans the right side, they'll be 2 cup sizes different until I stop nursing. It was more obvious post nursing though. These kids will never understand the sacrifices! Lol.

This is extremely selfish and I know it, but I'm so glad I don't BF. The 4 weeks I BFed DD1 was enough for me. Mastitis, clogged nipples, cracked nipples, lopsided boobs, leaking, pumping... nope! I give you ladies so much credit; it really is a sacrifice!

I cannot get the song Easy Street (from Annie) out of my head. So, now I'm listening to the Annie Soundtrack (the new Annie, with Quvenzhané Wallis). I love that movie & soundtrack and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

I was lopsided before nursing, and the difference is even more pronounced these days. In the morning, I can always tell which boob G ate off of before bed, because the other is huge.

There are lots of pros and cons to both ways to feed a baby. Both require acts of self lessness to keep another being alive that can't feed themselves round the clock for a year or so.

Well, going through clothes in Big P's room sent me spiraling amd crying. On top of her trying to take out clothes she wanted I remembered a video chat I had with Mr. P and Big P when Lil P was born and they couldn't find her ghost pajamas. Clothes were everywhere. I made Big P cry because I told her to stop playing with the clothes amd boxes I was using. I had to get out of the house.

Just got both girls down. Had dd2s 6 month check up. Everything looks good and I got the go ahead for continuing sleep training. Now I feel more hopeful and confident in that route. Last night she only woke at 1 and cried for 8 minutes.
My brother asked if we would visit him in California and for multiple reasons dh and I a little too don't think it's good timing. Then my brother offered to fly me out alone. But it's the weekend of mothers day. Would I would be a terrible person if tool him up on it?

Just change Mother's Day in your house to the previous or post weekend. The kids don't know- you get best of both worlds.

DH called and talked to the director a few hours ago - per him, she seemed very upset and said she would be addressing it immediately. I haven't talked to him again since then so I don't know if they have had a follow-up call or he is just planning to speak further to them this afternoon when he gets there.

Hey ladies. Pumping on my work trip. The trip is going well and meetings have gone better than expected. I'm looking forward to going home tomorrow! Last night I pumped at 8pm so I could drink some wine before going to bed. This lead to me waking up at 4am with boulder boobs. Yikes. Tonight I'm pumping right before bed. Wine or not.

@kitchen, The only time DD wants a morning nap is when she's sick. They seem to know what's good for them. I hope your DD bounces back quickly and doesn't spread her germs to the whole house!
