For the purposes of this check-in, we will define extended breastfeeding as breastfeeding beyond 1 year. Questions are repeated and suggestions are appreciated.

3. Did you/do pump when away from your LO? How old were they when you stopped?
4. Do you multitask while nursing (watching TV, reading, etc.) or do you just relax and enjoy the snuggle time?

1. How old is your LO? Almost 14 months
2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? 6 or so. 1 overnight
3. Did you/do pump when away from your LO? How old were they when you stopped? I have never been away from LO (fffc?) for more than a few hours.
4. Do you multitask while nursing (watching TV, reading, etc.) or do you just relax and enjoy the snuggle time? No, LO doesn't really allow it, she is a pretty quick nurser

1. 17mo!!!! I've almost made it to my third goal of 18mo!!!

2. We nurse 3-4x a day. Morning, nap (or when I get home from work), bed, overnight 1x occasionally.

3. I pumped until 13mo.

4. I play with my phone while nursing and I also snuggle.

Other moms : eating contest.... Give me all the lasagna.

1. DD is 1 and a week! I can't believe it. What a fast year.

2. We are down to 3 but I think I will drop our other day time feeding tomorrow.

3. I used to pump if I was gone longer than 6 hours. I would probably skip it now if we are a part.

4. I always play on my phone but I'm trying to focus on her more now because I think we are coming to an end.

We want to TFAS and my cycle returned a couple months ago but it is wonky. We struggled to get DD so I am weaning slowly now so I can focus on TFAS and take aspirin and progesterone if I do get pregnant because my OB recommended weaning first. I'm heart broken and trying to wrap my head around it all.

4. Do you multitask while nursing (watching TV, reading, etc.) or do you just relax and enjoy the snuggle time? the before bed session I usually check email, Facebook, here. Anything in the middle of the night I try and sleep.

2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? - dunno. 3-4+?

3. Did you/do pump when away from your LO? How old were they when you stopped? - I am very rarely away from him. I would pump for comfort I guess, physical or mental if my supply worry was enough to distract me from kid free time. If we did a weekend away I'm sure I'd pump at least twice a day.

4. Do you multitask while nursing (watching TV, reading, etc.) or do you just relax and enjoy the snuggle time? - depends. Sometimes I read or play on my phone, sometimes I read to DS, sometimes we snuggle.

2. How many times per day does your LO nurse? A lot, but knock on wood she hasn't been trying to hang out on the boob forever this week, sessions have been short.
3. Did you/do pump when away from your LO? How old were they when you stopped? She began bottle refusing at 3 weeks old, so not for her. And I've only ever been away from her for a couple hours at a time, except for the 23 hours I was away from her when her brother was born.
4. Do you multitask while nursing (watching TV, reading, etc.) or do you just relax and enjoy the snuggle time? She demands my attention :-)

I'm nursing them at the same time a lot this week because my toddler specifically wants to nurse alongside her brother. Which is sweet, but also nursing them at the same time is not super comfortable

2-4 most days, really probably 2-3
3. Did you/do pump when away from your LO?
I pump 2x a day on days I work, but am dropping down to 1x next week. I think I'd like to be done pumping when he reaches 18 months. Hopefully being home with him 4 days a week is enough to keep up supply.
4. Do you multitask while nursing (watching TV, reading, etc.) or do you just relax and enjoy the snuggle time? I try to just snuggle if he's more awake, but usually end up playing on my phone, especially once he's asleep.

3. Did you/do pump when away from your LO? How old were they when you stopped? No- stopped pumping at work at around 14 months.
4. Do you multitask while nursing (watching TV, reading, etc.) or do you just relax and enjoy the snuggle time? Some yes, some no- sometimes I'm just zonked in bed, other times I'm reading to DS1 or playing with my phone.

Non-breastfeeding question of the week: If you were competing in an eating contest and you got to pick the food, what would it be? Probably pizza. Or fresh crusty bread with Kerrygold butter. I can eat vast quantities of both.

We are down to 2x a day by my choice
3. Did you/do pump when away from your LO? How old were they when you stopped? I stopped pumping right at a year. We went away for a night last month and I couldn't find my hand pump. Big mistake. I should have pumped for comfort. I had to hand express a bunch

Now I feel fine but I was really sick when KU with DS and I don't know if I can handle it. I would like to wean soon but DS loves the boob so much.

1. 16.5 months
2. We are back to a couple times a day and ALL NIGHT. Ugh. Hours and hours of BFing between 7pm and 7 am.
3. I did pump at work/while away. Today is actually my first day not pumping at work! I'll still pump if I'll be away or night or something unusual for now.
4. She almost always nurses in a dark room, so I just try to relax too.
