I've always thought this sounded like a dumb idea as a single solution. Maybe as a cup backup they could be useful. But my cloth pads work just as well for that and I can change them as needed.
What if you need to change them while you are out? I know they are not supposed to need it, but what if?? If you have to take everything off? No thanks.

I don't know. For me, it would just be another thing in my arsenal. I probably wouldn't wear them on super heavy days or days I knew I was going to be out all day. I just think they sound really comfortable, especially for sleeping when pads are prone to shifting.
I've looked into them and will probably get a few pairs here soon when my period shows back up. They have good reviews, but I'll probably start out with one or two to try them out for myself.
