H is coming back around lunchtime from a camping thing. I am tired. Baby only woke up twice, but the big kid woke up between those two wakeups, and I decided to investigate what was wrong because he's coughing. I hate colds/allergies!
All 5 of us are getting haircuts this morning. I'm getting highlights too. I really, really need it.
The big kids have a soccer game this afternoon but it stormed all night and is supposed to rain all morning so I'm thinking (hoping) it will be cancelled.
We didn't cover our patio furniture last night because I didn't realize massive downpours were in the forecast, so I won't be sitting out there this morning.
Not sure what we will do today. Maybe go down the shore? I kind of need to smell some salt water. It's also Independent Bookstore Day, so I need to stop in to our local shop and show our support. I love that place so much.

We had a giant ice storm a few days ago and today is the first semi sunny day since. Hopefully it melts a bit of this ice, it's insane up here. A girl I work with has had her car stuck at the hospital since Wednesday and can't get out. We haven't tried to move our truck from the driveway, but it's likely stuck until this melts.
I woke up with such a bad headache this morning. Fortunately the boys wants to watch Paw Patrol and eat cereal so we're doing exactly that. I need to do more packing, but don't feel like moving yet. H and whoever he works with are coming today to move around the couches so we can get nice pictures of the living room for when we list the house. We're hoping to get it up on Monday, crazy!
Also, does anyone have experience with microblading? I'm considering it since my eyebrows are patchy, but I'm not 100% sold on it yet. The cost is a definite drawback, but it might be worth it. I love the look of my eyebrows right after I get them tinted, but I'm too lazy to keep up with it.
It's my work weekend. Only 4 more 'till this baby comes.
It's picture day at gymnastics and I told H to make sure he dressed Molly in something adorable. Please come tell me how cute all the little kids looked today meggos1988. I hate having to miss watching Molly do her flips and jumping when I'm working. She gets so proud of herself.

Omg we are having such a bad storm right now! It is pouring and hailing and so much lightening! And the soccer place posted on FB that the fields were open. Wtf? Someone must have looked outside because 5 mins later they posted the fields were closed.

We found a barely used balance bike for E on the Internet so we're off to go get her a helmet so she can use it. We showed her the bike last night and she s scared of it.
Thanks for all of the well wishes yesterday. I basically didn't move from the bed for 9 hours. Food poisoning sucks. I feel better today but certainly not 100%.

Storms were so bad last night and right now. Our gutters clogged last night from all the dang helicopters and in turn overflowed the gutters. Because of this the drain to our outside stairwell got clogged with more helicopters and crap and cause a river to run into our basement and completely flooded DS1's bedroom and our laundry room. There was about 6 inches of water pooling at the bottom of the stairwell that leads from DS's room so DH and I got to play in the rain for a couple hours last night. He went up on the roof to clean the gutters and I had to go clean out the stairwell. I also had to take the stairwell gate off the hinges and put it up like a canopy/overhang over the basement door to slow the water and debris from clogging the drain. By the time I came inside I was more soaked than if I had gone swimming in my clothes. Then we had to try and get up all the water that was downstairs. Thankfully DS1 didn't have too much stuff on his floor so there were only two books that were ruined and some stuffed animals we had to throw in the wash. But I'm exhausted and it's still storming like crazy and green outside right now. Thankfully our efforts last night seemed to help too. Grr. I'm glad DH was home last night and today to help deal with this.

catladymeow glad you're feeling better. Mac was terrified of his balance bike at first too. It took a while but once he actually got near it he loved it. Hunter is afraid to go near it right now, but I'm sure he'll come around pretty soon too. Balance bikes are the best!

Our town is doing the amazing race today and it is going by our house. So I'm drinking my coffee and watching these people race by. It's fun to see the different pairs.
In college I did one of these for charity and it was so much fun! We were in groups of 5 and ours was the #2 fundraiser so we all won a Sam Adams prize pack- 3 free cases of beer, hats, glasses, tshirts. We didn't have to buy beer for a while after that since we had 15 cases!
I'm fairly certain my oldest and her friend didn't sleep last night. We've already been to soccer game #1, the hair supply store and the grocery store. The older kids are swimming - in April - because they're crazy. Hoping for a long nap for AB so maybe I can take one before soccer round 2.
I can't remember if I told you guys this already. We have one of those Comcast remotes that you can use voice control. The other day, Reagan grabs the remote and says "Elmo". Gooood Lord. When she figures out the button to activate voice control, we are SCREWED

F wears size 6's. I have no idea how tall he is. I'll have to measure him because I'm curious. He was 31.5 the last time we were at the doctors (3ish months ago).
How ethically questionable is it to buy a $1 car seat at a yard sale and trade it in for the target coupon?
Sitting in urgent care to get my throat checked. I was thinking it's just allergies but nothing I tried was working. Then my friend's kid who was at my house ended up with strep. So I figured I better get it checked. Had a good night out with the girls last night at a 31 bingo charity party. Then a few of us went for dinner and a drinks. It was a good time and nice to get out. Other fun plans today include cleaning and grocery shopping.
Kolby still isn't walking so we took him to urgent care. They don't do xray on Saturday. We are supposed to give it a couple days and call Monday for xray if he's not showing improvement. How do I entertain a toddler who wants to run and can't?
My inlaws are still here. I'm trying my best but I'm edging towards cranky.
Tonight we are going to black tie fundraiser for the zoo. It is always so much fun and they have zoo keepers showing some of the animals during the cocktail hour. Last time I got my picture with a puffin and a sloth! The dress I'm planning to wear though... I haven't worn in three years, so ts and ps it still fits two babies later!
jessijean I probably wouldn't wait until Monday for an XRay if he still isnt walking on it. Is there another urgent care you could bring him to? Can the urgent care doc give you an order for an XRay at a radiology place? I'd try to avoid the ED, but I would take him there if that was my only option.
As for activities, maybe a movie or games on a tablet/leap pad? For us, this only works for a limited amount of time.
