Today is my BILs wedding! So we'll be pretty busy today. I'm playing piano at the ceremony and DH is a groomsman and the emcee for the reception. I'm hoping the dress I bought a month ago will still look ok when I put it on!
We did a bunch of errands today. Working on some minor house projects and getting some of the smaller things to add to the house such as new shower curtains for 2 of the baths, some baby things to work on finishing the nursery, and new/better lughtbulbs.
I took DD to parent/child swim class, organized the baby's clothes to see what else I need, and caught up on housework and grocery shopping. Im definitely paying for it now - my back and hips are screaming. Will probably end the day with a long epsom salt bath and a virgin margarita.
Tomorrow we are having a play date at the local petting zoo!
We went out with two other couples last night. One was from LA so we met halfway and of course after staying out too late, there was an accident on the way back and the freeway was at a standstill for an hour. So it was a later night than I've had in awhile, but still fun. I napped during the kids' naptime.
This morning was gymnastics and DH just took the kids swimming, and we're about to meet some friends for a picnic dinner at the beach playground. Also our outdoor living room project is done so I've been working on decorating. Hopefully the furniture arrives soon and we can use the space more. Tomorrow is a birthday party for one of DS's classmates at a trampoline place.
Oh and I also took our old nearly expired infant seat to Target and bought another Chicco base with the coupon they gave me - and it was awesome that it was already on sale. I learned that bases expire after six years too, so I figure better safe than sorry.
I hope everyone is having a great weekend! Good luck with all the ongoing baby prep and have fun at the wedding, mreve!

It was so hot here yesterday. I couldn't even handle it. Today is much much better. Thankful I have a month to go and I wonder how anyone with a late summer or early fall due date manage through the summer!

Same, starsandshamrocks123 I was dying of hot. Glad I got started on some things in the morning because by afternoon I could barely function haha I wanted to take a nap but I couldn't really do that either. Turns out our fan died on us even though I used it a couple weeks ago. DH was going to put up the ac after he got home from work, but I didn't want him to bother with it since today is much cooler again.
And I have no idea what's different this time, but I was pregnant through summer with DD (end of September birthday) and it wasn't nearly as insufferable. It was a very, very hot summer too. This time if it's anything over like, 72 degrees I feel soooo hot.
sdlaura - Oh no! The night going longer than planned is sure-fire way to get me irritated at this point. Our friends stayed until almost 11 and this morning was rough for me even after 9 hours of sleep. It's a sad state.
applemuffins - We keep getting warm and then cool days too. We've already had the A/C on a couple days and then we had highs in the 40s (F) yesterday and today. Can't figure it out.
starsandshamrocks123 and applemuffins, I think the difference is that with my first, I could relax in the pool or just lay around if I got too hot. She was born in August and I love being pregnant in summer and wearing all dresses and flip flops. Now it's hard to stay cool when taking care of the older kids!
