Spotting & LP, etc

Since this board is so quiet these days I figure I can start a new thread for my question

Let me start by saying that I am not trying to borrow trouble. Overall, my cycles are very "normal": O between cd14-18, plenty of EWCM, 10-11 day LP. I start spotting 8-10 dpo with a big temp drop the day spotting begins. My anxiety during my LP has also been bothering me. We've been TFAS for 8 cycles now and I'm starting to wonder if lengthening my LP might help (also Google tells me it may help my anxiety too). 

The three things I've found I can try easily are Vitamin C, Vitamin B6 (+ my prenatal), and Vitex (chasteberry). It looks like the Vitex may take up to 6 months to work while the vitamins may be quicker. Anyone have any experience or expertise? Thanks!

My LP is pretty consistently 11 days, sometimes 10. I started taking an extra vitamin B6 supplement a few months ago in hopes of lengthening it a little and it has made absolutely no difference thus far. As long as it's not too high a dosage I don't think it can really hurt so maybe worth a try?

For what it's worth when I mentioned my LP to my midwife a couple weeks ago she was not concerned.

Do you have any spotting before cd1?

Before DS I would get maybe a day or 2 of spotting and my temp would drop the day before, or day of, AF. Now it drops days before AF and I begin spotting that day which makes me feel like my body has given up before it has a chance to even recognize a pregnancy.

I have a day or 2 of spotting. From the research I remember doing when TTC before I'm pretty sure I had read that that isn't a concern/doesn't mean your lining is already deteriorating, etc but obviously, I'm not an expert.

Vitex isn't worth it. Especially since you don't actually have any problems. It can seriously fuck up your cycles.

Since my m/c in October, my LP was what I considered short. 9-10 days. I decided to start B100 complex in February to see if it would lengthen my LP. (disclaimer: I did not ask a doc before starting it)
That month, I got pregnant so I don't know if it lengthened my LP or not. This month, today I'm 10 dpo and no sign of AF yet. I'm still on the B complex. My RE knows I'm taking it and said it is OK to continue. I didn't share with him WHY I'm taking it (because I feel like I normally base my decisions on real information, but I decided to take the B complex after reading like a 600 page thread on a baby forum on the interwebz) but he said it is fine. 
I do think it helps my energy levels too, or it has an amazing placebo effect. Be ready for the highlighter yellow urine if you start taking it.

ETA: sorry to hear you are also suffering from the anxiety during LP, it's tough

First hand vitex anecdote: I tried vitex to lengthen my LP at my doctor's suggestion back before we started IF testing, but my LP was typically around 8-9 days. My doc had said that if the vitex helped it get to the 10-11 day range, that was when to cut back. She also wanted me to stop if there was no effect after 3 months, because if your body isn't responding then it's not going to help.

Also, vitex can be particularly dangerous for women with PCOS. If you don't know for sure that you don't have PCOS, don't try it.

What works for you might not work for her because different bodies react differently.

Vitex has consistently messed up enough women cycles that the warnings are out there.

I don't know anything about vitex, so I didn't comment on it.
