I'm going to enjoy every minute before the start of another crazy work week. What's everyone up to?

Hiiii. I need to grocery shop, meal prep, and do laundry. Otherwise I just want to relax and find a new show on Netflix to watch. It is cold and gloomy here today. I have been being very lazy so far lol.

We have a bad thunder storm right now...it's kinda putting a damper on our plans to try to do some yard work today. We haven't figured out alternative plans yet, although I do know at some point we need to go to the store.

Parents are driving into town this afternoon/early evening and then we're going for BBQ at my BFFs place, yay! I'm making the burgers and bringing the salad, and then I picked up strawberries yesterday with no purpose in mind, so I'm currently working on making waffle and strawberry trifle, with homemade vanilla pudding and waffles, because I'm basically Martha Stewart yo! lol
Pudding is already made, I'm just contemplating starting making the waffles, and then I need to put together the burger patties. And, um, somewhere in there figure out when the heck my parents are getting here because there's a time change during the drive so their ETA may not be accurate lol

I need to go grocery shopping, go to IKEA, and go to a shop in the next town over. We don't really have time to do it all, but I'm not sure what we'll prioritize. Grocery shopping is the only one that can't really wait, but it's also the one I want to do least, so we'll see.

We just got back from church. I don't think we will be doing much else today. It's 40 and rainy, so that really puts a damper on any fun activities. Probably just lots of cleaning today. And I plan on making smoked sausage and cabbage soup with cornbread for dinner this evening.

So I think we're actually going to attempt to get everything done today. Though instead of going to our usual grocery store we'll go to a closer one and just get enough to get by for a few days until we have more time for a real trip.

But mostly I'm just excited about getting dinner at Ikea! Mmmm

It's a nice day here but clouding up and apparently preparing for rain later today into tomorrow. We got a bunch of spring stuff/yard work done this morning that we wanted to! My MIL and her mom are coming for supper later.

My (almost 4 year old) son starts t-ball tomorrow for the first time (well, weather permitting now that it says rain). I am so excited! We'll be doing that Mondays and Wednesdays.

Update - the trifle is gooood. Even my super clean eating hubby ate quite a bit. My parents got here safe and sound and I can't wait to do market research with them this week ^^

I ended up shopping all day...I'm so tired, but it was stuff I needed for our vacation. I think I might start a poll on a couple of necklaces I bought. I can't decide which I like better.
