I've been trying to square away summer camps for DS. So far he's good to go with the "playground" one he did last year through the city rec dept but we do a couple of other ones that overlap as well. Also, now that he's older this year there's a few new ones that may get thrown in the mix if we can get a discount on so we shall see. Just a case of waiting on people, my favorite.

So when I went to wait for DS in the lobby of the school/the main hallway intersection when the kids come down like I have been doing for majority of the year, the principal has been pretty much ignoring me ever since my interview or maybe has been saying hi way less often so could be because of that or because I'm there every day whatever. So I'm standing there with my back turned towards the office & all of a sudden I see a phone come up to my side. lol & she shows me a pic of the guidance counselor who is the only male figure of the school with DS & a couple of other boys 'dressed up.' She said that DS was so proud to be 'dressed liked him.' Basically he's the only staff member who dresses up fancy. He's always in a dress shirt/pants (in usually loud colors), bowtie/tie, think semi-hipster like even. So I guess at the end of the day, they found a couple of boys to do a pic. lol What I did was a half & half outfit since DS had gym today. I put him in a button down short sleeve shirt with a pair of joggers. When his class came down, his teacher said she "totally goofed" with her whole exercise clothes thing. I told her that's why DS was half & half & she said she did the same thing with her outfit. Bahahaha

DS is supposed to have a soccer game tonight. It's freezing and raining so I'm hoping for a cancellation. I'm not that lucky though lol!
It's a crazy busy week here. My dad is doing a presentation at DSs school tomorrow which means I had so much to do to prep. He totally prepared as though they were high schoolers (they're 3rd and 4th graders lol). So many experiment kits to put together! But, it's so worth it! DS is so excited his papa is teaching for the day. Love the STEM programming and community connections.
I'm on 11 days left of school. So much to get done! But, it's a fun time of the school year. The Mother's Day gifts were doing are so super cute. Sometimes I can get it together! LOL
