I have one episode to go. I'm confused as to why Tony told Clay that Caly killed Hannah Baker (when they're on the swing-set talking and Clay asks Tony if Clay killed Hannah Baker). Maybe that will be revealed in the final episode.
Overall, I'm feeling mixed about the show. IMDB rated this show really high which is what kept me watching. Some of the episodes were really good and some were meh. My favorite episode so far was the school dance episode where in the end you see how badly Clay is hurting. It made me feel what the characters were feeling which didn't come out so well in earlier episodes. I really like the storyline of Jessica going through motions and emotions following the rape scene. It helped me understand how dynamics in relationships change after an event like that. The rape scene was graphic, but I think I needed to see that play out to truly understand how rape can happen and why, and why people respond the way they do following a rape.
I also wish they would've developed Hannah's character some more as they supposedly do in the book. There are multiple references that "Hannah has drama" but I never really got that sense from her while watching her character go through all these unfortunate events. I say all this because I really wanted to be blown away by the show and in some ways I was but in other ways the characters were too 2-D and/or the scenarios were not that believable.
It's interesting how Bryce played such a strong role in why his group of friends had the dynamic they did. I like watching Justin's character evolve and he turns into a more likeable character by the end.
