QOTW: Because I'm getting married on Sunday...what is your favorite wedding memory?

What are you doing to GKU?: This month, definitely focusing on the supplements more, plus preseed, timing, temping, and attempting to use the CBE OPK and hoping I don't screw up like last cycle. I'm also gonna make more of an effort to temp at the same time every day since it's been all over the place the past few cycles, even if that means I have to set an alarm. I'm also going to re-read "It Starts With The Egg" - someone on here recommended that book to me about a year ago (thank you!!) and I think I need to revisit it.


RRCS: None needed yet.


QOTW: Because I'm getting married on Sunday...what is your favorite wedding memory? Okay I know I asked this question, but thinking back to my first marriage, I think the part that stands out for me was my ex-H doing a Tom Cruise style knee-slide across the dance floor toward me.

What are you doing to GKU?: waiting for AF to GTFO

RRCS: Just mad that it's CD1. There will be wine tonight!

QOTW: Because I'm getting married on Sunday...what is your favorite wedding memory? Congrats on your wedding!! Our whole wedding was fun, I was super relaxed and just enjoyed myself! My favorite moment was probably when we slipped away during the reception to take sunset photos in the vineyards. It was gorgeous and it was a nice time to just soak it all in.

What are you doing to GKU?: Temping, OPKs

RRCS: O should be in 2 or 3 days so doing all the things. We will see if doing OPKs first thing in the morning works. I have no time in the afternoons to pee on things. DH is currently glad that his birthday is falling during my FW.

QOTW: Because I'm getting married on Sunday...what is your favorite wedding memory?
Gosh, so many. But maybe a moment at the end of the ceremony when DH and I turned to walk back up the aisle together and the music started and we'd both forgotten we'd chosen The Jurassic Park theme. We looked at each other and just started cracking up. Our photographer captured it and it's a great picture.

What are you doing to GKU?: taking pnv, I'll start temping in another couple days and hopefully hit a couple days in fw.

RRCS: nothing right now.

QOTW: I don't even know if I can just choose one. We got married in a tiny historical church that only fit 25 or so guests. It was so intimate and fun. At one point my sister (MOH) had to sit on my dads knee because there wasn't enough room for the candle lighting at the front. During our ceremony we gave flowers to our parents and after the ceremony me and H went outside and placed one on my moms grave. I loved being able to include her in the day.

What are you doing to GKU?: monitor, opk, SMEP, preseed

RRCS: It looks like an annovulatory month here so I don't even know if I should go here. I quit using the monitor because I used all the sticks and $$. I should probably keep temping though. 😢

QOTW: I loved everything about our wedding and reception! My favorite moment was walking in to the church and seeing how many people were there to support us then seeing DH waiting for me. It was surreal and so special.

What are you doing to GKU?: FF had me predicted to ovulate yesterday, but no cross hairs yet. I feel like I should either today or tomorrow. This the second month of using FF, and I am wondering even though I predicted my ovulation date the first month, maybe I ovulate later?

RRCS: nothing right now.

QOTW: Honestly? Before the wedding. Our wedding was different. DH and I went to the appointments together. We took pictures before the ceremony (we had all the bridal party/family come to the place early). But while we were waiting for everyone to arrive, and before we started getting ready---we ate pizza in the place. (it was an old style house on the water where we had the wedding) So we were in one of the rooms and DH, I, my family and his mom were just chowing down on pizza.

AF arrived yesterday, so it looks like I'm moving on over here

What are you doing to GKU?: Just temping.  

RRCS: DH is going out of town from CD12 until CD17, which is usually my fertile week :/ So there is a good chance that this cycle will be a bust for us.

QOTW: Because I'm getting married on Sunday...what is your favorite wedding memory? We had an outdoor ceremony, and it ended up raining through out the entire ceremony and reception. It was only lightly raining during our ceremony, so my favorite memory ended up being able to hear raindrops hitting the tent we were under, and all of the trees we were surrounded by

RRCS: nothing right now

QOTW: Because I'm getting married on Sunday...what is your favorite wedding memory? Dancing our first dance together. It was so sweet and it hit me right then that we were really married.

whatsit that's so great that you were still able to include your mom. My mom passed in 2015 and I'm so sad she won't be there on Sunday, but I have a necklace that has some of her ashes in it that I'm going to wear.

Annoyed. Yesterday was the CD I've O'd on the last 2 cycles, I had cramps that feel like what I often do on O day, and I had a positive OPK in the morning. No temp jump this morning. It only took halfway through my 1st cycle TTC to remember why this process gives me anxiety.

If you had a positive OPK yesterday you're likely O'ing today and won't see a temp jump til tomorrow.

I'm sure that's the case this time. In the past though, I've O'd the same day if I had a positive OPK in the morning.

I'm not good at going with the flow in case that wasn't clear!

RRCS: Just frustrated that it's so hard to GKU. I still can't help but shake my head that so many people become accidentally pregnant while I strive to time everything perfectly every month, spend money on OPKs and still can't seem to get it done.

QOTW: Because I'm getting married on Sunday...what is your favorite wedding memory? Hard to say - I had such a great time. But I think it was my husband dancing to take off my garter. He did the worm and split his tuxedo pants all the way up his inner thigh.

QOTW: Because I'm getting married on Sunday...what is your favorite wedding memory? The alone time with DH and breathe after the busy day. Sorry, but if I had to do it over again, I'd just go to the courthouse or something super low key. Wasn't worth the $$ to me.

What are you doing to GKU?: will just try and time the sex right

RRCS: not sure how trying to conceive will work out this month. The basement in our house is flooded (about 2.5 feet now) and the rain keeps on coming. I feel like we're both gonna be really stressed out.

QOTW: Because I'm getting married on Sunday...what is your favorite wedding memory? My husband's speech, first kiss as a married couple and during the reception, my H and I escaped to go take some selfies by the lake at sunset just the two of us. It was nice. Btw, congrats on your upcoming wedding @emmaswan!

FF isn't my friend this month.

I am CD20 and still no cross hairs--of course I have been getting up randomly throughout the night, so the timing of my temperature is off. The other day (thursday) I had cramps/tightness like I was ovulating. I think I also had a VERY high temperature that day.

Then, because DH and I have sinus infections or something, we took Dayquil and I went to take a hot bath. Somehow I didn't realize that taking Dayquil on an empty stomach was such a bad idea. The cramps and nausea together were about too much. But i ate some breakfast and pulled through. After all the medicine kicked in I went to church and hosted a potluck dinner there! Now we're gonna crash.

Ughhh. For cramps I like to put castor oil on a piece of flannel, place it on my stomach and the use a heating pad or warm pack on top of that. It helps until meds kick in.
