I've been doing school work most of the day and just called it quits for the night. I want to do a little organization in the baby's room but will wait for the cloth diapers to finish drying. DW just prepped them with 5 washes before going in the dryer. Fun times for our water bill lol. Also the day became super nice after the rain ended and part of me wants to go for a walk but that requires getting dressed and hoping my hips/groin stop spasming!
Tomorrow I need to try and finish my last paper and praying DW finishes the rest of her baby to do list for the weekend. She gets so mad if I try to remind her of things but she really didn't do that much today. 😝

Met with baby sleep consultant yesterday, it went well. We start implementing the plan Friday, my mom comes during the day Saturday so she better not mess with the nap plan... we will likely be sleep deprived as we all adjust.
Today the rain has stopped! There are a bunch of things to do with groceries, buying and mounting a curtain rod for black out curtains in Is' room. I'd LOVE to get out and do some gardening if there's time, maybe even just pulling weeds in the front if we run out of time.
Is has a cold, I really hope it clears by Friday.
We got a daycare spot for June 1st. It was at our top choice, will save us $$ on the nanny for summer and the program runs year round as opposed to the Montessori program we'd signed her up for in the fall. I feel bad about cutting our contract short with the nanny - she's been great. We're going to give her 2 weeks extra pay.
I really hope the sleep plan works and we get it sorted for daycare.
Not much happening here. Other than we are planning our first non doctors visit family outing... going to Walmart to get some stuff. Hahaha.. sad that Walmart is now a big deal.
First family outings are a big deal! Not sure you have them where you are, but after M was born a friend recommended Babies R Us as a good place to go because they have a nursing room.

I actually responded this weekend...what happened to it?!?
Oh, well...here is what we did this weekend...
Friday - Worked late and met a friend for dinner. Ate a delicious steak and 3 $15 cocktails while we chatted.
Saturday - L was still sick (she went to Urgent Care Friday and has a sinus infection.) I met up with 3 other families and we took the kids to a street fair. It was cool and overcast, but no rain. Crowds were manageable and it was nice to hang out with friends. Home long enough to make a run to get food and then over to friend's house for a BBQ. Hung out, played games, and didn't stay out too late.
Sunday - L slept till 11. She got up and showered and by the time she was done, she was back in bed. G wasn't feeling great either - he never has allergies and this year they seem to be kicking his behind. I ran and got Chipotle for lunch, drove C to his soccer game only to find out that the game had been cancelled (everyone was there...it wasn't just me!) Dropped C off at home and went to get a pedi and a grocery run. I made the kids a huge breakfast for dinner, finished laundry, got ready for the week, and crashed into bed to watch a ton of Daily Shows that had built up in the DVR.
The highlight of my Mother's Day was going to put air in my tires and the guy in front of my still had time left so I was able to add air for free.
