Hello ladies My LO is 2 1/2 weeks old. Last Thursday we took an 8 hour road trip to visit family. We stopped every 2-3 hours for feeding and diaper changes and LO was a perfect angel the whole time. Thursday night and Friday were spent feeding non stop. I thought it was a growth spurt.
We traveled back home yesterday and last night was relatively normal. But today he won't stop eating. Since 9:30 this morning he's only sleeping maybe 20 min. And he screams till I put him back on the boob. He still has wet/dirty diapers, but I'm starting to worry about my supply.
Is this still cluster feeding or could this be something else??
Sounds like cluster feeding to me too. Babies have a growth spurt every other day/week in the beginning. It seems as though once things settle down, they enter a growth spurt. Keep feeding on demand and hang in there!
Sounds like normal cluster feeding to me -- you could be heading into 3w growth spurt. The white noise and movement for car time might have been soothing for him.
Ditto was Everyone else said - sounds like the beginning of a growth spurt. Just focus on doing nothing but feeding LO on demand. Dishes can wait, laundry can be dealt with another time. Relax, get comfy on the couch and binge watch something on Netflix. We wound up watching basically the entire series of Dexter that first growth spurt

I agree with everyone else! It can be so nerve-wracking at first because it really does seem like they're not getting enough to eat. Keep up the good work, mama!
