calishove, that's a shitty situation. I have run into kids who wouldn't let C play but then back down when I say something. Unsure what I'd do if they don't back down and no parents are around...

Cadence is fine. We hung out at my Mom's house for the afternoon. Not as fun as the amusement park, but they both had a nice time, which was the whole point. I'm exhausted.

How do I delete an account on here? I went to sign in and the page reset while I was typing and somehow created a new account under my main account...does that make sense? If you see a weird screename liking your posts that was me with the weird account. I thought I was logged in as myself, but I wasn't. Ugh.
Happy Mother's Day! I got a hair straightening brush but I asked for it. I haven't showered yet but T is following me around saying "try it mommy." The kids made the cutest stuff at school. DH's class made a dessert recipe book with a recipe from each kid. DS made this card with all little pockets that had coupons for chores he will do and things he likes about me. The most appropriate was "my mom can be in a lot of places at once. Sometimes she gets us to 5 sports on the same day."
My sister is on her way home from her trip. DH wrangled all 6 kids so I slept until 8 and my dad brought over breakfast for everyone. I'm enjoying the morning because by 1pm the past 4 days, I feel awful.

Mothering is hard. It takes a strong support base. Last month when my base broke, you wonderful women came in and held me up. My base may never be solid again, but you ladies help keep me whole. I love and appreciate each and every one of you. Happy Mother's Day!

Happy Mother's Day ladies! I think you are all amazing and am so grateful for this place!
I'm still in Casper. Yesterday was my grandmas funeral and today we are having an estate sale. It sucks. It's sad here and I miss my kids and my husband. This whole thing has been harder than I thought it would be,-'d although I'm grateful to be with my mom on Mother's Day I really just want to go home.
Happy Mother's Day, everyone! I'm very thankful to be on this journey with my 'quest friends' (as DH calls y'all). Hope you all have the wonderful day you deserve.
DH took over with the kids this morning and I slept til 9 😳 We made mimosas and are going out for lunch/brunch with my parents. I got some new Lilly things from DH and the children 💕Coincedentally, my sister and I got my mom her first piece of Lilly so she was tickled. I guess we'll just be one big obnoxious highlighter-colored, floral-printed family.

Just took the car seat out of my car to wash. There was a ring of vomit surrounding it. Ugh. Cleaned it up and now I'm leaving the car seat for mh to deal with while go to the movies. Have a great day ladies! Hopefully with less vomit than yesterday (I'm looking at you @peachsmama)

Happy Mother's Day to you wonderful ladies! I'm so grateful I have this group as I navigate this unfamiliar territory.
I was up in the middle of the night for a couple hours, so I slept in and we skipped church. MH and M are making breakfast and I'm catching up on DVR. I have to venture out again today because I quickly retreated after attempting to go to a few stores yesterday. Shopping during the week has definitely spoiled me because the stores are so calm. I have no patience for the Saturday afternoon crowd. Nope. Hoping it's not as bad today.
Have a great day ladies!
Hope all the sick kiddos are feeling better today.
Happy Mother's Day, N13!! I love that we've celebrated so many together.
I got yellow roses and chocolate covered strawberries yesterday, the boys each made crafts at daycare, and DH and Colin have been working on a "bag of fun" which I haven't actually seen yet.
We are meeting my IL's for dinner (Indian - maybe Chase's first time?) and I'm a bit nervous because Colin was a wreck before nap even after a long bike ride, and Chase's stomach has been... Disturbing. Staying home would be so much safer, haha.
Well that was exciting. We were put on lockdown around 3:30 because there were shots fired 4 blocks from the hospital. They just lifted it a few minutes ago (4:45). I hope that means they caught the guy.
I just sent dh out for take out. We were supposed to go out but I'm not risking a public vomit. Or having to wash the car seat again.. I need to put it together.
If he's fine through the night and morning, would you still keep him home or send him to the sitters? He ate some and perked up.
Honestly I'd keep him home until he's closer to 24 hours puke free. I feel like there's a good chance he's still contagious.
