Nothing to report here. Spotting and waiting for cd 1. Spotting isn't leaving me hopeful. I decided to hold off on calling the dr until after our life insurance meeting next week. I'm also pushing harder to wean so I can see if that's factoring in to this crazy luteal phase spotting.

CD6 here and still bleeding 😑. But, I saw my RE on Friday, he did an u/s and said that my ute looks really great! Better than it has in years! It was almost as if I was looking at someone else's ute on the u/s! So, we are only doing 2 months of Depot Lupron, and most likely doing the FET in July! It's all happening a little faster than I expected!
So I had my WTF meeting with my new RE (my old RE moved back to Europe after my FET). He is recommending an antagonist protocol and I'm starting BCP today (CD3) which is basically what my previous RE recommended as well. The one thing I'm trying to decide on is genetic testing or no. He felt at 35 my overall absolute risk is still pretty low. Thoughts from those that did/didn't? If we did we would freeze all and send away then do a FET. Otherwise we would do a fresh transfer.

I did a freeze all for pgs because I had 3 miscarriages in a row prior to IVF and I wanted to do whatever I could to not go through that again. My first successful pregnancy was my daughter I have now, a pgs normal day 5 blastocyst transferred via FET. We have a few more PGS normal frozen still. I was age 30 at the time.

nik, I was 36 when we did the ivf. Initially, we didn't do PGS. We only did it once we moved REs and then we unfroze the remaining embryos and did the PGS. I'm glad we did. One of the best embryos we had left, was positive for turners syndrome. The likelihood of us transferring that embryo was HUGE. I would personally rather lose the embryo prior to becoming pregnant with her, versus having to make that decision while pregnant.
My age made us not super high risk, and the fact that neither myself nor my hubby have issues in our family history. Ultimately, I personally feel that PGS is necessary.
westiemom, can I join? We've been planning to TFAS this summer when M is 18 months. It appears my cycles are back to being PCOS cycles so looks like we'll be heading to a RE. The practice we used to conceive M had weird protocols including giving me clomid without monitoring me. So I found another one and they had a little seminar/workshop the other night that I attended. I liked them and I think I'll end up using them for treatment. The nurse I spoke with said I would have to go through testing again since it's been two years since my previous testing. Anyways spur of the moment we stopped using condoms so I guess you could say we're NTNP. Currently on CD 38. Passed cycles have been 36/37/57 days with 36 being the most recent.
