Last night DS hit his head on my mom's coffee table during a fall from the couch. I was scared with how he was acting after, but thought a good bit of it was just being over tired and fighting sleep.
After a good night's sleep, he proclaimed this morning that "mommy fixed my head with ice"! It definitely made me feel like I sometimes get this mom thing right!

I'm glad your kid recovered well. I tried to skip my unisom one day last week and woke up feeling terrible. I ended up taking it at 8am and sleeping till noon. I just ate breakfast and am about to go to work for a bit. Hopefully it won't get too busy today. I can't wait for Monday when I get to go home!
I can't hardly sleep. Normally hubs takes the dogs out if our bedroom and keeps them quiet in weekends so I can sleep in. But nope. Was up at 840. I miss sleep

Hahaha ok now I remember!! Yes I have seen LOTR and the first 2 Hobbit movies! He clearly just didn't stick with me. Maybe I need a rewatch.
The gif is spot on, btw!
Rewatch immediately! He's got a proper scene in Desolation that is majestic as fuck. And he's got a massive role in Battle of the Five Armies. I need that to be on DVD sooner!
I've had a cold for almost three weeks, so now it feels like I have a sandpaper mustache. I know the solution is to rub a little A&D on the area, but to me, that stuff smells like baby butts.

See, I was 8 months pregnant when Smaug came out! We were in the fucking 2nd row, all the way to the right. I peed 4 times in 45 minutes and made mh leave. Because pregnant and because ouch. Since then I have seen it once and it was interrupted by a baby.. Maybe DH and I will watch it tonight
H and I went for a hike this morning because it was a balmy 34 degrees!
Brrr... anything under 50 here means we stay inside as much as possible!
Yeah, I was being a little facetious. I hate the cold yet I live up in the Great Lakes region near Canada soooo....34 degrees in January is as good as it gets unfortunately.
I've finally settled on binge watching Sherlock (again) and then I see you ladies talking about Benedict Cumberbatch and Martin Freeman. As if I needed more convincing I was in the right place.

Oh good lord, Peter Jackson films are not ones pregnant ladies can watch in theatres! 3 hours with no pee breaks is impossible! Hope you get to watch it all the way through

Yep. It's suppose to be almost 40 here today (Minnesota). I might bust out the flip flops. Yesterday I went to target and saw someone without a coat on. It was 38. You know you're from the north when stuff like that doesn't look strange.

I need a "meanwhile in Canada" gif. I don't know how to gif. It's -16 F right now. I went to the store with a friend and she had no hat, no mits, and had her coat open. Damn. I do love how sunny it is though

I remember last year after about a month and a half of those kind of temps (-40 to -50 with wind chill) how wonderful 6 felt. I think I drive home with the window open. Lol
