Went back to bed around 4am and fell back asleep. Toddler was screaming again at 515am. My alarm goes off at 530. For real, kid. Brought her to bed with us, she went to crash down on the pillow next to me and landed her dead weight big head righ5 on nose. It's been throbbing ever since and now I have a splitting headache. Today's going to be a day, I feel it.
Oh man, I would be such a grouch after a night like that. I think you get a free pass. Hope your day goes better.
I just cannot switch off and sleep. DS is still napping so I could of gotten a good 2 hours in, but no.
I'm thinking my energy levels are kind of turning back to normal (during the day that is) as for the past 3/4 days I haven't really felt the need to nap and when I did I had a hard time falling asleep that night. I mean that's fine but not when I'm on a night shift lol. Luckily we do get a 2 hour sleep break, and I always rest/sleep then.
My hamstrings and general endurance are facing dire times due to my inconsistent or lacking commitment to physical activity. I'm proud that I notice there's been a decline, meaning that I was doing pretty good for awhile, but I'm also super pissed that I have to start from the bottom with even more stacked against me.
I get this. I have been so sick and so tired, I haven't exercised since... well probably since week 4 or 5 when I started getting nauseous. I had been exercising about 5 times a week on average. That is my norm. I feel so out of it. But I also just can't physically do it right now. So I will just have to get back into it later.
My one friend has done about 20 races over the course of her pregnancy ranging from 5ks to half marathons. She just did what she said would be her last race this weekend, but she didn't think she did well enough so she might try to do one more. She's 35wks.
And I'm over here moaning and groaning through gentle yoga. Sure.

You should rethink your friends
I'm with everyone else who's slightly disappointed by my slowing endurance and athletic ability. Coupled with the lack of enthusiasm, things are pretty pathetic. However, since I was woken up early by DH getting a text from a coworker, I got up and did a 15 minute prenatal yoga video. Admittedly, it felt pretty good, and I certainly was tight! Maybe I won't get a headache today now.

RE Running while pregnant: my friend is 39 weeks and still going running daily while pushing her 2yo in a jogging stroller. She also lives where it's stupid hot out already. She's like a super hero.

I always thought I would be that person who runs while pregnant. It turns out I am not. I tried once with my first pregnancy, couldn't pace myself slow enough, and almost passed out then spotted. No thank you.
I am team NO TV while going to sleep. My H loves falling asleep with the TV on and gets mad even when I turn it off after he's asleep.
Maybe an UO but we don't even have a TV in our bedroom. I read a thing a million years ago that to get your best night of sleep your room should only be used for sleeping and sex. So that's how it goes at my house. I actually really like it but maybe just because I am so used to it.
LMK if you guys all head over to SM. I can't keep up with the state of the board thread.
Scary Mommy ... they have a proboards forum. peggels24,
I set up an account. I had a meeting and totally missed what the final straw was ... I am happy here in this BMB though, so not sure if I will be moving over.

No TV in our bedroom either for the same reasons lol. We must have read the same article ... not that it helps DH get laid anymore frequently lmao.

We already have two TVs, so we don't have a third in the bedroom. On occasion, for a special treat (ha!) we watch something on the tablet in bed
It seems like a lot of work to switch to a different board? I haven't been around that long to know why everyone cares so much? It's staying afloat for now, isn't that good enough. We certainly have enough people to chat to in this month group. *shrug*

I set up an account there but I haven't decided for sure if I want to follow. I'm not super impressed with how things have been handled here but I'm also really affected by it all either. What's everyone else doing?
I set up an account on SM but honestly I don't get why people aren't okay with staying here. The whole thing is weird. I also didnt read the whole thread. I just couldn't get it up to get upset about things like some people did.
I read most of it. Concerns are legit IMO. People want accountability it seems and are upset that they aren't getting it. Admins have serious stuff going on and aren't available. It way spiraled out of control.
Eta to clarify I think both "sides" contributed to the spiraling/craziness.
