Good morning! I got to work a little early today to make up the extra time I took during lunch yesterday when I got my pedicure. I'm only working a half day today. DD2's follow-up appointment for her back is this afternoon. She's getting new x-rays taken, so hopefully they'll show her fracture has healed and say she's cleared to resume normal activities.

I need to bake my ILs' anniversary cake because the party is tomorrow. We also need to make a couple of giant pans of baked ziti, but DH said he would do that.

@holachica I would have no idea either. The outside is 100% my H's domain.

Today is my day off. As usual I'm working few things on a deadline to take care of this morning and then H and I are going to see guardians of the galaxy 2 this afternoon. Love me some chris pratt. H is self employed and we used to always make Fridays our date day but he's been really busy and so have I so we haven't been doing it. Hopefully this is the start of us making time for it again.

We're off to the pedi soon. Dd2 was up alllllll night long. I thought it was because it was so hot and she was in the merlin. So we took her out of the merlin but she still wouldn't sleep. I thought that was just not being used to being out of the merlin. She's been super fussy this morning, which I thought was being tired. But I just took her temp and it's 100.2. Which isn't too high but she's had a cold and has already had an ear infection so I'm going to get her ears checked. I'm so exhausted and DD1 is being her nornal needy toddler self. I don't know how I'm going to survive today. How do people do this?!?!?

I was super grumpy yesterday. DD was being an annoying 4 yr old and DS was really fussy. He popped his first tooth last night so that explains it.

No plans for today. Should do some packing. Glad it's a long weekend and DH will be home for 3 days.

Hi guys👋🏻 WFH today and running some errands. Got up early and got an arm workout in, and hoping to get some cardio in at naptime. It's hot again today, so trying to stay inside until later this afternoon when it cools down.

G's teeth are really bothering him, I think. The sleep crying woke us up almost every hour last night. MH and I took turns getting up to rub his back and try to soothe him. Then, I had to wake him to get him ready for school. I changed the nipples on his bottles to level 3 last night (from level 1). Hopefully he'll adjust soon to the faster flow, because we both had to change after his bottle this morning. He spit up a ton of milk all over us. Then he spit up on his teacher when we got to school.

I have to share how proud I am of N. When I was leaving the school, his class was going outside to play. N was the line leader, and followed every instruction his teacher gave him. She saw me and said that he couldn't have been the line leader a few months ago because he wouldn't listen. I teared up because I knew she was right.

Hooray Friday!!! DS2 is so close to cutting his second tooth. I can't wait for it to come through and get a teething break for a day or two.

Rainy daycare drop off. Boo. And DS1 had a rough morning. I think it started because DH was still home when DS1 woke up so he wanted to stay home and play like it's the weekend. He just cried/whined about everything. He was putting on his shoes with DD and she walked away to show me which shoes she picked out. He cried because she left him alone. There were no tears at drop-off and I'm sure he's fine now that he's settled into his usual weekday routine.

DH is home with DS today because our DCP is at her daughter's graduation. He says DS is being very sad and fussy. Always always when it's just DH soloing with him as opposed to me. I'm really worried this is turning off DH on any solo parenting ever. Ugh.

Also it's too hot. I like the sun, but seriously, does it have to be in the high 90's?

I woke up with a bit of an upset stomach and had some diarrhea. But I took some of DD's Zofran and came to work. Honestly I'm kind of glad I feel sick because it means her illness was probably just a virus. I was a little worried with some of her weird symptoms.

Today is the last day of work for one of our temporary clerks. He wears a bow tie every Friday. In honor of his last day, one of the other temporary clerks bought a bag of bow ties from Amazon, and almost everyone in the office is wearing one. Including the clerks who are in court. It's amazing. I don't know that the public knows what to make of us.

DD2 does have an ear infection. I feel awful that I thought it was just the heat.
Girls are napping, although DD1 is starting to roll around. I told her we'd go in her pool when she woke up.
My brother is flying in tonight for a quick visit.

Having a bad afternoon. Just realized that when my old computer tower died last year, I think we forgot to save all our photos from our trip to England last spring. Way more emotional about it than I should be.

That's the worst part - DH already threw it out!!!! ;_; Without wiping it too, so I'm pretty po'd. I thought we had been able to get all our photos off but apparently we only concentrated on the photos of right after M was born.

I pumped at work for the last time today. I thought I would feel like this when I was done.

I did not; I felt more like this.

I'll still pump at home in the morning and at night, but not having to lug another bag with me to work will be so awesome.

macaronmama, that sucks One of my projects for this weekend is going to be transferring pics from my iPad to my new iPhone. When they did the data transfer, for some reason, only half the pictures saved.

So I am currently doing all of the tone it up workouts, and they added this arm routine today (scroll down to the video on that page). Legit my arms were burningggg by the end of it, but I really liked the workout.

We put in a offer on a house. Hopefully they are willing to negotiate. We're starting about $25k apart in price and over a month in possession dates (our house's possession date is July 14th, we're asking for the 10th, they wanted 90 days possession which would be closer to August 19th). FX!! I really love this house.

he'll get used to it. And not to generalize all men, but for MH and other men I know, they get so much better at all solo parenting when the kids get older and "do" more. H and DS1 are obsessed with each other.

I second this. My husband is great work the toddler now. Also he was much better with the baby this time around, like offering to help a lot.

I've been wanting a new house for years. DH bought ours before we met. Not what I would have picked. It's served its purpose for 10 years. Time to move on.

A few more since I'm so excited. Kitchen and the yard. I'm so in love with this yard.
