Did the majority of you guys find yourself on one of the new boards? Are checkins going to be posted there? If so, where? Or are you continuing here too?

Reading and posting on the checkins saved my sanity while breastfeeding DD1 and I know I wouldn't have made it 13 months without the support from this board. DD2 is due in 3 weeks and I was really looking forward to those checkins again!

I have not found where everyone is. I'm not sure there is one place yet.

There is a BF board on the BMB forum and the placetomeet forum, without activity.

I hope we find a place to be, because it is the community of support and the accumulated wealth of experiences and knowledge that make this board so great, from hours old nurslings to preschool nurslings.

I will continue to post here as long as there are people needing help. I am happy in addition to go elsewhere. I am @lily all the new places that I know of, minus the loss place. Feel free to tag me in, PM me, whatever. Let me know where people are.

i'm open to going wherever the majority of people settle-- but i don't know if that's the birth month board or the place to meet board... i did sign up for both. so i dunno if i'll just post the extended BFing check-in here, or if i should post in all 3 places or what. this is just exhausting. :/

FYI there is an election for new admins today for whatever the new site is going to be. The link is being cross posted a lot of places the goal is to try and get everyone to vote... then the admins will talk and we'll figure out where we are going. you can see the boards for aplacetomeet and the "politics" one where most ppl are congregating without registering, the voting is going to be done not on any of the boards but like a survey monkey or something (not exactly sure what). I will be here until things settle. I think this board is an absolutely invaluable source for all stages of BFing and I want to remain apart of it. I did vote and if the board ends up moving over there I'll move with it.

I am due in 3 days and have not moved from TCF. I am hoping to stay here. I was so looking forward to posting on this board, I have been lurking a lot lately to try to prepare myself again for breastfeeding. My first LO is 3 and I BF until 10 months, pumping while at work. My goal is to make it to 1 year this time. I do not feel like I managed my supply well in the beginning and struggled the entire time with production issues.
