I'm not sure if any of you are still checking this board but I thought I'd try just in case. I have been a lurker here and TB since my first son was born in June 2014. I was always too nervous to post on any of the boards and really only looked in randomly as my son got older. Then when I found out I was pregnant with DS2 I started following this board, but never got up the courage to post plus I was always behind. I saw the forum implosion go down, but was glad to see this board was staying here.
My DS2 was born May 31st but my due date was June 4th. My DS1 will be 3 on June 14th. I worked full time in financial services all the way up until DS2 was born but may only go back part time after my ML. That's still up in the air. I love reality TV and have enjoyed catching up on Southern Charm while up all night long nursing. I know I'm late to the party, but I would really like to start posting if you'll have me.
Me: 29 DH: 35 NTNP since May 2013 charting since June 2014 dx: Graves disease (radioactive iodine), Crohns disease (abdominal surgeries) MMC October 2015 (9 weeks) Severe MFI diagnosis July 2015
@lilybilly just realized our LOs are birthday twins. DD was 5/31, original due date was 6/5.
Andddd DS turned 3 in may.
And I work in finance LOL. Unfortunately not at a job where working part time would be an option unless I threatened to quit!
I love reality TV but never watched southern charm... perhaps I'll add to my DVR!
We sure have alot in common! Kinda crazy!
As for working part time, it's only going to work if I step down to a lower position at a different location , which I'm not sure I really want to do. My direct manager is fighting hard to keep me, but her manager is not on board and he has the final say. We'll see what happens I guess.
I'm always up to discuss reality shows. I hope you enjoy southern charm. I finished all the seasons and started watching Sweet Home Oklahoma now.
