I think it's dumb when people make personalized can koozies for weddings and other events. We have a drawer full. What makes them think I want something that says their name on it every time I drink?
Also I don't get why places are renaming things like lakes and schools just because that person is now decided to be a bad guy. For example, an elementary school here was named Ramsey elementary but they changed it to justice page elementary. It was originally named after Ramsey, MNs first governor but he had a hand in the extermination of some Dakota men. So now after how many years it's renamed. It's still a part of history so why hide it? Plus are we going to rename the city and county that are named after him too?

I just like the free koozie, I could care less what's on it. I pushed for the kids to go get me one at the parade. You can never have too many of those things!!!

I agree. Koozies are one of the things I like getting as a favor bc I'll actually use it and it's not just clutter.
We literally have at least 30 at home from events. Probably because we've been to grad parties and weddings galore in the last couple years since it's been trendy. We have too many.
I'm laughing though because my current koozie is from my cousin's wedding and I have never understood the saying... It says "quite the pear" and then a picture of 2 pears. I found it odd.

I have a reasonable number of koozies in my kitchen, and store the rest in a cooler in the basement, because usually when we use them it's when we pack a cooler for an outdoor event.
I used to feel this way and still do if you're going to wear a tie/dress formally. But DH got a short sleeve plaid button down he wears with shorts that I like.

UO: I like the 90 degree days, you need it to be this warm to be able to enjoy the pool/beach/lake.
Disagree. I can enjoy the pool and beach when it's in the 80s. I hate 90. If it's 90+, I'm inside in a/c. It's more the humidity here that kills me. If it's 90+, it's usually high humidity. When I was out west, it was almost 100 and pretty bearable.

+1 to this. Just this summer i managed to convince MH that short sleeve button downs are ok, he got a couple linen ones from ON and they look really nice with shorts
