Hey yall!  

lilyelayne CONGRATS!!!  i missed your announcement but i'm so thrilled for you!

how's everyone?  i'm back at work, kind of.  i've been coming to the office in the morning and then heading home mid-day to help the au pair with nap time since that's the part of the day that can get dicey if both kids are losing it.  then i work from home the rest of the afternoon.  we've had a rough few months, but things are great now.  i'm on a total elimination diet, eating 9 foods, and we finally got C on the right reflux meds.  she's so happy now.

It's my birthday today. I am heading to the store for ingredients to make my own dessert...yeah that's my H (and family) for ya. 😔 I make it for everyone else but no one offers to make it for me. I like baking, but I just wish it was reciprocated on my birthday. Though I HAVE been wanting a good excuse to make peanut butter cup stuffed cupcakes again since A's birthday in January lol. It's rainy here so I'm just planning on a dinner get together with family...probably to Giordano's for Chicago's beeeest stuffed pizza!! mmm 🍕

agm04 omg I bow down to you and your perseverance with breast feeding and that kind of diet. You are my super hero. I am glad things are smoothing out and it's good to see you around here. You've been missed.

As for us we met up with a local mom and her 4 yr old. It was so nice to do something with another adult/ kid combo and she is super sweet! Yay for making connections.

Bible study & haircuts for G and me today. My dinner plan didn’t work out so I’m bummed about that but instead of cooking I’m curled up on the couch with my little family watching Dinotrux.

Thanks for the support y'all. The diet really isn't so bad, especially compared to having a miserable little baby. She's so smiley and giggly now! I need to start trialing foods one at a time, but I'm so afraid to shake things up now.

I was lazy and tried to use the food processor when I should have chopped veggies myself.

Inventory day at work, but so far is going smoothly. Oh an A is cutting like four teeth right now.... in addition to crawling, pulling to a stand and falling...slow down kid!

kartish thanks! i love our pedi but honestly she's pretty clueless about all this. and the GI we were seeing said, "oh well, worst case, we'll have her admitted to the hospital to be tube fed for a while" when she wasn't gaining weight. soooo...i'm kind of on my own.

the pedi did say to keep doing what we're doing and is thrilled with the progress, and recommended waiting to introduce the top 8 allergens for a while. i think the first few i want to try are avocado, rice, and bison (she failed beef and i miss red meat). avocado and rice because i really need to have some safes that i can easily grab and/or order if i'm out and don't have any food with me. also, we are going to chile for christmas this year, and i need to be able to eat the foods H's grandparents grow on their farm if nothing else. their main crop is avocado.

Four teeth at once is brutal!  hope they pop through soon.
