Halloween was good but we ended up having only 31 ToTers and I planned for 75 (last year's amount). So now I'm eating Halloween candy and getting fat. I saved a few of my favorites and packed the rest up for H to bring to work! A and N looked amazing and I think H and I could not have looked any prouder - with our goofy grins going from house to house.
Last night H and I watched the first 2 episodes of Stranger Things season 2. I think I'm the only person on earth that thinks Eleven is kind of a b*tch. I'm sorry but... we shall see if she shapes up lol. I also don't get why everyone thinks she's an amazing actress and all that...if I got paid to say two words an episode and look angry I'd say sign me up on the dotted line!!
Between the dog and A, I didn't get much sleep last night so my cold is beating me today. Hope everyone is surviving their post-halloween children!
Had a good time ToTing. Halfway through (at our turn around point), DS had an accident in his pull-up (he'd already had one an hour earlier) so that was fun. I'm glad I went with the pull up over putting him in another pair of training pants. He was really cute, but all he'd say to people is comments that they had a cat or dog or lacked pets. He really just wanted the candy. About half his candy went into our basket to give away. All that and the teal pumpkin stuff I got was gone. We only handed out to a few kids and mostly let it be self serve on our porch.
DS has this annoying new habit of taking off his pants and wet diaper in the morning and then yelling for me. And he still refuses to use the potty in the morning. I think I'm going to donate the last of his diapers to the church food bank and switch to overnight pull ups because he's outgrown the diapers. And maybe it'll help with getting things to click.
agm04 oh no, I'm glad you are okay. Car seat research would drive me bonkers but we will have to do it again at some point because A's is not an "all stages" type. Grrr.
seamonster A is only getting it sometimes but we are sticking with pull ups. They hold a surprising amount!!
lilyelayne bun donut from the dollar store for the win!! It was so easy and looked so cute that I want her to wear her hair like that more often lol. But N calls them bun-buns and hates them for some reason.
Hey hey! We are just busy in Texas. I know C is a busy busy boy but I always forget how much easier it is to manage in my home until we take another trip. All my time to check in here is spent watching the kid pretty much .
Halloween was good took the kids to the little down town here and they had a great time. S was slightly overwhelmed and spent much of the time sucking her thumb but she still enjoyed it, C had a blast walking around and smiling at every one crazy dude.
And in other news ASTROS WON THE PENNANT!!!! I can't believe it.
Our Halloween was good. The boy's costumes turned out great and V had fun trick or treating around my mom's house and our house, and then running astound our house roaring in his costume. I thought I'd never get him out of it but he suddenly was done, and wanted out, lol.

I love but donuts. I don't have thick enough hair for one otherwise, but they help make me fell extra pulled together.
thanks you guys. just glad no one was hurt. and the other guy's insurance will be reimbursing us for car seats, so that takes the sting out a bit.
lilyelayne thanks! i actually posted on the CSFTL FB page but didn't get any responses. Good idea to message them. We may end up with 2 more of what we have for A (chicco nextfit zip), but they're so bulky, so i want to make sure there's not a better fit for our needs.
