What are the items on your kid's christmas/holiday wishlist? What are you getting them? What is santa getting them?
A teepee style tent is our big present. Santa is bringing a toolbox and play tools. Also on the list is a big truck (my dad for him a big metal dump truck like I had), more Ikea train things, a dr kit, and dress up items.
Now that H is back, St. Nicholas is going to visit on Sunday. This year DS is likely getting more then raisins.
To answer my own questions: N asked for a princess castle from Santa. A asked for ruff ruff which is her favorite bedtime stuffy ...so she doesn't quite get the concept. She doesn't mean another one or a different one. She just wants her Ruff Ruff lol. So Santa is giving them a disney princess castle that comes with figurines. They are both getting that. Then they are also getting Warmies from Santa. I kinda hate that Santa gets all the glory sometimes.
Other things they are getting from us: disney movie, car lap trays, christmas personalized placemats, little kingdom disney figurines (they got one set each from St. Nick and looove them), new clothes....
Some of these will be birthday presents too since their birthdays are close to it.
Warmies are stuffed animals filled with buckwheat and lavender that can be microwaved (or frozen) and keep you warm (or cold) for comfort during cold winter nights or aches and pains. They are supposed to hold their temperature for hours. N saw one at a zoo gift shop and has wanted one ever since! I got them the big size ones instead of the Jr. so they can enjoy them longer.
Santa is bringing A some wooden cars and some wooden blocks. V will get a apron and hot pads and some cooking tools from the man in red. DH has a thing about Santa presents being conceivably elf-made.
From us, we are getting the boys a backyard play set for their Christmas and birthday presents. V will also be getting a bed, but that's more about timing then Christmas. We'll also get them some small things from them to have under the tree and for them to open up on the holiday, since the play set we won't get till January.
N basically put himself to be an hour early tonight. He's sick. He got down from the dinner table and said it was time for bed. Skipped bath and stories and didn't fight brushing his teeth. He puked in the living room this afternoon after some wild playing, but seemed ok. I hope he feels better.
I need to take him to get his hair cut fixed. I hate the place by his daycare and prefer the kids haircut place that's down the road. His bangs are uneven and while we sweep them to the side, they fall down so they need to be cut straight across. And I hate that they use clippers rather than going fingerlength on the sides and back. I'm annoyed that H keeps insisting on going there we though he doesn't get his hair cut there. It's even more expensive than the kids place.
A and N have been puking the last couple days. N's kicked in last night. Needless to say I didn't get much sleep. The worst thing is that N's dance recital was today. She is so disappointed about missing it. Hopefully, this means we're getting the sickness over with BEFORE the holidays this year though!

Yesterday evening was rough. I ended up taking my phenergan early at 6pm and was asleep by 730. Oops. No early service today so we didn’t go to church. I’m determined to mail our Christmas cards tomorrow!
seamonster that's how A was. She threw up after a coughing fit but she has a sensitive gag reflex. She was acting normal otherwise... hope yours is better quickly!
Our plan was to go to the tree farm and pick up a Christmas tree last night but V was asleep when I got to my mom's house and he didn't wake up till after it was too late to head over there. So maybe tonight if I don't get off work too late.
seamonster and dreemkin hope the kids feel better soon and you stay healthy.
