Work is still crazy, but the good kings this time. I won an award for helping other departments out in a fix but missed my award breakfast cause I was helping out my old department in a bind.... lol.
We went to the lights and Christmas Village last night and it was fun. We took our nieces too, but the eldest started feeling poorly so DH took her to the car while I rode the train with the rest.
Tonight we were supposed to go to a light show, but I'm not sure it's happening.
We are doing most of our celebrating tonight due to work schedules, work, Christmas eve Santa visit, then church and home to open up presents. It'll be a nice evening.
Hope everyone is having some peaceful time with their loved ones!
We had lunch and dinner with some old friends of mine. And then Christmas Eve dinner at my mom's house with some family friends. N had a good time playing with the older kids pretending to be animals. My friend gave him a great gift -- glitter glue with a coloring book. All the fun of glitter without the mess.
We'll go to my mom's house for Christmas morning. During nap time I'm going to assess my dad's house. I'm going to arrange for a dumpster when I'm back out for the funeral. A family friend said he'd help clear it and my mom's friend will take any useable furniture we want to give away. There is someone maybe interested in buying it. I'm setting up a realtor for when my sister and I are in town for the funeral to sell it.
Went to Christmas Eve service with my mom. H took DS home to do bedtime. DS insisted on sitting on his bed until I came home and sent daddy away. They'd already did stories and it was time for sleep so I got all the philosophical conversation.

Merry Christmas! Yesterday and today were super full of family & presents. G started church with a meltdown after being awoken from a car seat nap but other than that he’s held up very well.
It's been a busy busy long weekend with my family capped off either 8 hrs in the er with DS thanks to a split lip. He is fine and we are thankful it was nothing major. Tomorrow we head to his parents for a few days.
Well we ended up putting V's new bed together Christmas eve and instead opened our family gifts last night. So we had three days of Christmas I guess, lol. V and A both had a wonderful couple of days.
