Very low beta today *Update: I'm out*

Hello ladies,

I'm 10dp3dt today, and yesterday morning I had a squinter on FRER.  When I tested again yesterday evening, it was darker (I wouldn't even consider it a squinter).  This morning, I had another squinter (pretty much just like yesterday morning, so lighter than yesterday evening), and I went in for beta.  It came back at 10.  

Do any of you have super low first betas that doubled properly and wound up being viable?  I'm in desperate need of success stories... Google found me a few, but I think there were more second-hand stories than personal experiences.  I'm seriously freaking out right now.

I'm sorry you are in limbo. Our "Read this First" thread addresses this--yes, we have some ladies that started with a low beta and went on to be OK while others experienced a chemical pregnancy. tagging ProfessorChaos!

Betas have to start somewhere and it's possible you may just have a late implanter. I wish I could tell you something else to ease your anxiety while waiting for more betas...but even with higher betas I was still a mess those first 2-3 weeks.

Greetings! My first beta at 9dp6dt was 24, so a little higher than yours, but a day or two later. I was certain it was going to be a chemical, even though lots of people gave me success stories. The nurses were very cautious, but obviously all had worked out well, and I'm now 32ish weeks along. You just never know, but of course all betas start low, it's just a question of when that first test happens. Your test was extremely early, so keep that in mind.

I want to wish you lots of luck! I have seen a scarce few very low betas that have been successful. I don't say that to upset you, just protect your emotions. FX that things go well for you! Please update with your next beta!

Somewhat of an update: I took another FRER this evening, and the line was darker than the one from last evening. It was definitely pink and definitely positive. I'm hoping this means things are going in the right direction, but they're having me do another beta tomorrow so I don't have to wait until Monday. I'll update tomorrow with the results.

I got my first BFP at 5dp5dt. Four days later at 9dp5dt my beta was 90. My doubling rates were always about 36-40 hours, meaning the day I got that first, squinter BFP my beta was probably around 10-15. I'm going to go with you have a late implanter and it has to start somewhere. What matters most is that it doubles from here. Good luck!

I peed on a LOT of sticks when my betas were so low. The only thing that kept me going was seeing them get just a tiny bit darker each time. I hope this means good things for you. Will watch for your update tomorrow!

I haven't had any experience but I wanted to send you some love. It's always hard when betas don't do what you expect them to. I will say, when I'd had a cp in the past, when the line went lighter it never went darker again, so I think that's definitely a good sign for you that it was darker! They didn't get my results until about an hour ago. It went from 10 to 15.2 in 24 hours, so it's on its way to a 48-hour doubling time. I'm still really worried about a 15.2 at 11dp3dt. I guess we'll see how things look on Monday when I do another beta.
