My body is still not feeling 100% from the weekend but it's business as usual today. DH is thinking about leaving his job or going a different route, responsibly of course since we are a one income household. He finally got his manager bonus this year (in the 30,000s) so it's a significant perk. But I know money does not buy happiness and he's not loving being a manager. So I will be supportive as long as it's not a significant salary decrease.
I'm home today with the boys and my one goal is folding the laundry pile that has gotten out of control. While I'm at it in going to go through my clothes.
However, I'm currently in nap jail, as A is still not loving his room. I think big crib bothers him, but more so im sure he's still getting used to it.
dreemkin sorry you are feeling your fun still. Also good luck to your DH while he figures it all out. Does he want to change his field or just his job?

Thanks! He's in IT and he's on a path that forks to two possible ways. Keeping on the network management route. Or staying technical; going the architect route. He's not sure if his current company has room for a position that he would want, going the later route.
kartish sometimes kids feel kind of scared of a big crib and room because they can't fathom what's beyond their crib. Do you have plenty of light and a familiar/comforting sound? Hope A gets used to it soon! It's a big adjustment!

dreemkin hope your H figures out his next career move without too much stress and financial burden.
kartish hope A adjusts to the crib soon. I’ve heard of people doing a rolled towel under the fitted sheet to make the crib seem smaller? Dunno if that would work with a 1 year old?

OB appointment went well this morning; no biggie. Go back in 3 weeks for the glucose test and rhogam shot, then the next week I’ve got the high risk OB appt.
Back from Puerto Rico. We had a great time. I was successful not getting bit by mosquitoes until the last day when I was eaten alive under my clothes despite protective measures. I told H I needed my little plug in bug zapper.
DS rolled out of bed one night and cut his lip. He'd been so good in beds that we didn't put beds together or put him on the floor. He's ok. Just scary.
