kartish awesome! A getting used to room/crib?! 2mrsks (mrs&mrsk) c-section or induced? Eeek! It's another boy right? Do you have a name picked out?
Today was 65° and sunny!! So we went to the zoo for most of the day. It was fairly busy because of the temp and it being a free day. It was the first time with just me, the girls, and no stroller.... So back pack in tow, we made it! It was actually nice not to have to park (and go get) it. Those walks back to the entrance can be long. The backpack will take some getting used to but it was doable haha.
dreemkin I think he is, he went down so easy tonight.
DH burned his finger tonight trying to fix one of V's toys, poor guy. Had it checked by a nurse just to make sure it wasn't too serious, but luckily we had some head y duty burn cream in the house already, so that's helping.
I have lots to do before bedtime, but I'm dragging. Might just go to bed after the bare minimum.
DS had his follow-up evaluation for developmental preschool today. He seems to maybe be average for speech, but borderline. He was being uncooperative and wouldn't speak up. Plus everything was "poopy" e.g. a picture of a chair was a "poopy chair." I think we'll end up going the route of private speech for at least a few months to help articulation.
Don't know where this whole everything being a "poopy" or "peepee" or "farty" thing came from in the past week. Quite the comedian I have on my hands.
seamonster if you really want him into the school system, push for the full eval (they probably did a screening) or the help if he was borderline. Otherwise, private sounds good too.

This was the full evaluation. But he's great on all other skills and the developmental preschool is hard to work with our work schedules, so we are looking at private as a possibility anyway. We have a results/IEP meeting at the beginning of April. Part of that may be what strategies or things do we need to push with his current daycare because they certainly haven't pushing him to speak (he's quiet at school and a chatterbox at home).
