DH is sick now, and currently on nap two of the day...must nice.
I'm feeling better except for a nasty cough still. I thinkS might be getting the cold too, poor baby had been snuffling all day.
Other than germ infested not much going on in our house. It is absolutely gorgeous outside and I'd love to take a walk and enjoy it. Maybe I'll throw out in the backyard, it'd be good for him.
I've got nothing exciting to share. I got McDonald's for lunch for the girls because we needed a change of routine today. I resisted! And it's my favorite fast food place. So I'm feeling proud of myself for that. That is all.

We are home! I got induced Monday and good thing- he was 8 lb 5 oz if he was 3 wk later like his brother he would be over 10 ! We never saw his face in sono (fists up always) and it turns out he looks a ton like his brother ! Maybe just with dark hair? We will see! Came home before the snow in ny so we are relaxing inside and all is well. Thanks for asking!!
Holy hell today was horrible. I could count the minutes C wasn't screaming easier than the ones he was. I am certain he has an ear infection too, except unlike his big sister Tylenol, ibuprofen, saline didn't cut it. Sooo I did something I would never recommend and gave S's abx to him. I filled her prescription jic but she doesn't need it and I am using his dose. I am 90% certain it is an ear infection and ultimately I think the urgent care would have pacified me with antibiotics anyway if it wasn't so here I am. My only regret is I hemmed and hawed and waited until this afternoon to give the first dose not this morning.

We gave an old abx to r one time and urgent care said basically it was pointless and dangerous Bc different strains need different abx. If you can still get to urgent care you should go jic

I understand the risks. They aren't old and they have no idea what bacteria is causing an ear infection without culture so they would have given me amoxicillin anyway. The bigger risk is if it was not an ear infection but a different source of infection. Strep throat is a slim possibility and they would have likely given me amoxicillin for as well. Im almost certain if they didn't see an ear infection they would have given me antibiotics anyway to pacify me. If he isn't better today I'll go in but yesterday it would have broken me.
But more importantly congratulations to you and your family of 4!

aggiebug that's why I bought an otoscope. No guess work! Sorry you're having a rough time! Hope everyone feels better soon!
I thought of you and your otoscope lol. Its a first here so I have no reason to get one and I doubt I would have brought it on the trip anyway. Oh well. 2 doses and the kid has done an absolute 180. There is no doubt in my mind they are what he needed. Definitely not a habit I would make but I am ok with it this time.
Now I feel a sinus infection coming ugh. This virus is killer! Just hoping to keep it at bay till I get home. Don't wanna drive with that.
