We just got home after a busy day. We had papers to sign at noon so I didn't go into work, then after that we had a reception to go to, which was a lot of fun. But when we went to go pick up the boys afterwards we spent forever talking to my parents and ended up getting home super late. But I got to dress up and have adult conversations, so I'm happy.
It's an early day tomorrow and the weather is going to be poor, but hopefully the roars won't be too bad.
Yesterday we bought a van....eee. Now it's changing car seats, learning the new features and size! The girls were so excited. I think it looks too big but I'm sure we'll grow into it. It's a "brilliant black crystal pearl" Chrysler Pacifica Touring Plus. We liked the features and the price! One sold as we were there and another the the day before so we figured we better do it since this one was of the more basic ones of this trim (and cheapest we've seen). It has the safety features we liked: blind spot detection and cross rear path detection with autostop, a back up camera, thank the Lord, and some other neat things. We didn't get the dvd system or optional 8th seat but I'm okay with that. I try not to use/rely on electronics and we can bring their tablets along for long car trips. And best feature to me is the access to the third row (when car seats were on the second row seats - seems like a no brainer for a family car but you'd be surprised) and stow 'n go seats!
I got G’s stomach bug. Yesterday was really rough. But my mom came to the rescue & took G all day, thank goodness.
Feeling closer to human today. Trying a little breakfast. We’re hoping to get a big chunk of stuff moved to the new house today & set up G’s bedframe. Buying his mattress tomorrow!
Oh no lilyelayne that can't be good on top of your HG. I'm glad you are getting better though! Lovetit for all the fun house things! And I hope so too! It feels like driving a bus right now...
Today was Anna Day! She earned a special day with mommy and daddy for good behavior (filled a sticker chart). So she got to pick what she wanted to do. She chose bowling, lunch at chili's, and we took her to the store to pick out a small toy. She chose a stuffed animal bear that she named "stuffed bear" haha. The last couple days she's really improved with the potty training too! She is learning that her PT sticker chart gets her a little prize of her choice from a bag I put together. She was almost dry the entire day! It was amazing!
I drove the van to get used to it more, since I will be the primary driver of it. I like it but I'm bad at parking right now and scared that I will have a tough time in smaller, more filled lots.
Hope everyone is feeling better! Anyone have spring break plans? N is off of totschool now but I don't have much planned besides Easter activities.
