It’s the first time all winter that dd1’s school is closed because of the weather...oh I forgot it’s spring!
Daycare is also closed so we are all hanging out at home for the third day in a row.
We actually cleaned the whole basement yesterday and set up a play area for the girls. They loved it and were playing there all day. Then of course we left them alone for a bit and dd1 thought it was a good idea to pee on the floor rather than come upstairs to go. So of course LO did the same thing. Ugh!
Turns out it’s a good day for selling things on Facebook! Lol
This spring has just been whacky! It's snowed every Sunday in April so far. Thay is crazy you have your first snow day of the season in April. Yay for a play area, and boo for peeing on the floor. I guess stairs is just too much >_<
Not much here, went to urgent care for this blasted migraine, hopefully Prednisone works. Sarah is doing awesome with pee but not anywhere with poop. She keeps saying she wants too and then... Doesn't. 🤷. Mostly I am whatever about that but then she doesn't go for over a day and it is stressful trying to have it not happen in underwear.
Snowing here today too...what month is it? I actually don't mind it for getting more use of our winter shirts/pants. I put N in a long sleeve shirt with a penguin and snow on it today! But I'm ready for less winter coats!
A is poo-poo potty trained. I can't remember the last time I had to clean a poopy diaper. But she seems oblivious to the pee part ::shrugs::
2mrsks (mrs&mrsk) hope your first day back to work is going or went well!

I have a comp day today so I'm chilling at home. H and I had a lunch date. He's on a business trip for a few days this week so it was nice to get some time together. I'm picking up DS this afternoon to take him to the Dr for a possible UTI and to address his constipation (he's drinking a ton of water and eats his weight in fruits and vegetables).
I'm really annoyed with my daycare. We went to the open house for the next class up -- it's a Montessori preschool so it's 3-6 year olds. I knew they had a tv in one of the classrooms, but I thought they were just using it to play music and short clips for lessons. Apparently the afternoon program for the class he's going into have a weekly movie and the director was pissy with me about bringing it up. None of the other parents knew and they were all on the side of we don't want our kids watching movies at daycare. And others told her they had walked away from daycares that had tvs. I think we'll disenroll him when we go on our 50 day Australia trip to save the money and if they don't have room when we come back we'll find somewhere else (I doubt they would fill the spot -- in October kids are pretty set in their place and they don't move anyone up between August and December). I'd find a different place now, but H doesn't want to move DS since he's making friends.

We just took r out it was supposed to be 3.5 mo but he’s going back early (1.5mo) and they are charging us the registration fee again!
seamonster sorry you are unhappy about the daycare situation. I'm over hear looking guilty because my kids watch way more than one movie a week. But they were early nap droppers and need that down time during lunch sometimes. I have no experience with daycare and how things like that fit into your schedule/life. Since it's Montessori can they (or the parents) choose to do something else during the movie? If they can't, hope you find somewhere you like better after your trip! lilyelayne how has H been lately (post move)? 2mrsks (mrs&mrsk) it'll get better! aggiebug I hope the new meds help!! That must be terrible.

dreemkin up and down. Once we settled on the last decision for the yard, he relaxed a lot. Not so distant. I think it was poor timing of house stress on his end & another extra sick pregnancy bit on my end. He has been really good at noticing what I’ve done for the house every day & complimenting me on it. Helps me not feel invisible.

dreemkin don't feel guilty. Them showing a movie cuts into his home screen time limits and my mommy needs a break time. Plus I'm paying them a small fortune for childcare.
lilyelayne we're doing good. Things are much better.
