I went to weed the garden today before work while it was still clear. This is the employee community garden up at work. It was muddy from the storm last night, but since I was already there, I decided to weed anyway.
So I spent an hour then headed in to the office. I went and changed clothes and cleaned up my arms and face in the locker room before heading up to my office, but didn't realize that my legs were all muddy. Until ten minutes ago. My legs are literally covered in mud splotches, and my knee length dress is hiding none of it. I'd be more upset if I could stop laughing at myself. Like seriously, how did I miss all that mud?

Did the grocery with both kids for the first time. Yay for having fresh fruits and veggies in the house. I’m about to lay down and listen to the thunderstorm and hopefully nap.

I did end up taking the day off today except for joining one meeting I was presenting in that by some miracle overlapped with nap time for both girls.
We really made the most of the day. We spent the morning at the zoo, came home for lunch and naps, then went back out to the sprayground after nap. Not a relaxing day off but it was fun.
kartish that's funny. That's totally something I would do!
I think I'm on the mend. H Went back to work today. It hurt my fingers to make the girls toast for breakfast but I got through it. And they're in the pjs for the day haha.
My fingers are still swollen but I can bend them today and I'm not as itchy! My lip and nostril sores have started peeling today so I'm trying not to pick and just let them heal. I think I'll moisturize like crazy today. Inside my mouth/throat is getting better but it still hurts to eat or drink. I have two more days until we try vacation again. I hope I'm up for it!

There is a stomach bug in J's room at daycare and she got sent home today for having diarrhea although she hasn't had any problems and seems perfectly fine to us. Of course they won't allow her to come back tomorrow so I'll be home with her while trying to work and having meetings. Hopefully E stays healthy, would not be great to be home with her sick for the weekend.
G has picked up his cousin’s habit of saying “like” a few times a sentence. I really hope he stops soon. I keep repeating his sentences back without the word “like” sprinkled throughout.
