My boss just explained that we would be covering more people on our appointed weekends to work but the ones who actually do most of the work know that’s going to be one sided....
I was the guinea pig last weekend and told him how it went and got blown off.
Well at least I have another few weeks before I’m “on” again.... tbd guaranteed I’ll be called a ton when I’m “off”

Oh that's extra frustrating. I'm hoping the links are worked out, bosses actually listen and things improve.
Thanks for checking in and thank you to everyone for your support.
It was rough going back today. It was good to talk to everyone about what happened. At one point I went to the counter to see how things were going and was talking to a few people. Suddenly someone shouted in the waiting room and I lost it. It was such a trigger hearing some yell. They brought in a counselor today who will be around for a few days. I spoke to her today which helped.
She helped me realized that I did enough. I got my people out of the office and to a safe place and made sure someone was calling 911 and loudly identified the person to avoid confusion.

Good news- J doesn’t need surgery! Then urologist says his condition is mild enough that it might not cause functional issue. So it’s a wait & see until he toilet trains.
Bad news- Grandma is in the hospital. Worse than yesterday. She did drink some water while we visited and that perked her up. When Gabe told her bye she opened her eyes & said “I love you too” to him.
Oh mishka29 I am sorry that is such a hard thing. I am glad they brought someone in that you could talk to. I hope you can continue to reach out to them as needed. Not being ok, is ok. You were brave when you needed to be, but you take the time you need to process. I'm here to listen if you need to talk about things.
