I am ready for the weekend! I mean, we have a lot of cleaning and chores to do around the house but I'm happy for the break from work.
I'm wfh today and I've been getting some of the lawn mowing out of the way when I work from home on Friday but its rainy so instead I slept in today and then vegged out in front of the tv with my coffee for a while. I guess I should do some actual work and get ready for my meetings.
I'm kind of burnt out today and ready for the weekend. I feel bad that I'm currently looking busy on my phone so A will just play stuffed animals on her own. But we've done so much playing today already that I'm donezo. Frozen pizza and a family movie night planned for tonight. I have Monsters Inc. or Over the Hedge to pic from. I get "new" movies for $1 at Goodwill and if we don't like them oh well! I personally love Monsters Inc. so I'm pushing for that!
Tomorrow I have flu shots for the girls scheduled and hopefully a redo of our anniversary dinner since my sister had to cancel last week.
dreemkin I usually wait till October (or Nov now that C has his well bisit early November) to get the shots but I have heard of 2 cases of the flu already in the area 😱. Me thinks I will be scheduling ASAP.

J is being a super snuggly baby this morning, so I’m still in bed with a baby in one side & my dog on the other.
Probably doing farmers market this morning & stocking around town for the semiannual Makers Faire. Friends coming over this afternoon to watch the LSU game.
A did great for her flu shot. N was terrified. I guess when they are older it gets in their head more. But that's done. We are going to go to the melting pot tonight for fondue. My favorite (local) place to eat mmm!
Home now. This morning was a mess, cause we couldn't find out car key so ended up gabbing to take a taxi home, then DH caught a ride back to the airport to get the car with the spare.
The trip was fun, but really rough on the boys with the time change. They loved the beach and swimming in the ocean most of all. V went crazy over the fire dancers we saw at the Polynesian cultural center, and really wanted to get up and dance with them.
