Trying to decide what we should have for dinner tonight. Something special...
My mom invited the boys to a MyGym this morning which V loved and A didn't have time to adjust to before it was over. My mom wants to take them next Tuesday so maybe it will go better next time.
Then it was dentist appointments for both boys; A's first appointment. He did great, my big little kid.
kartish what did you make for dinner? Was it a special occasion? And thank you, but I am looking off of a template I found online and slightly modifying it to my liking so it's not an original idea. These are easier/quicker than I thought but I'm having a fun time doing them!
Fasting and abstinance today although with my diet, I feel like I'm always fasting so no biggie. Tonight I am making a low carb shrimp dish for me and breakfast burritos for the rest of the fam. I figured the kids can have meatless days with me this year even though I won't make it a huge deal. Just takes a bit more weekly meal planning. I'm excited about my shrimp dish. It is basically like a shrimp scampi with a little bit of cauliflower "rice" to make it more hearty.
Hola. I am apparently short on patience this Ash Wednesday. I feel very in tune with the Lenten season starting like this 🤦. We should make it to a family friendly service tonight which will be nice.
Made it home from NoLa at 530pm yesterday, then J and I made it to the 6pm Ash Wednesday service. We all still have colds. It was rough getting G up and out the door for school today.
Didn’t exactly sign up to be on the staff appreciation week committee yet there I was in a meeting this morning for it 😬😂 so I’ll be busy for the next couple weeks coordinating that.
The boys are on one tonight. It looks like early bedtimes.
I found out my baby brother is going to graduate high school a year early, so will be graduating this May. So it looks like I'll be making a trip to Missouri.
